Also, if she wasn't comfortable in it she probably wouldn't wear it in the first place. Also, Ragna's not a lolicon. At all. Everybody just likes to make him out to be one.

Eh, it's not like BB itself is a novel storyline or plot. It's pretty derivative, but kind of fun in a way. We all know Ragna's a siscon. Haha, he practically tells Carl as much.

Not only is the coat way cool, but the stupid-looking tonfa are gone. I would've vastly preferred Makoto to just be a hand-to-hand fighter. As far as I can tell, she only uses the tonfas to extend her attacks by spinning it around (as if simply punching them with squirrel-power wouldn't hurt more). The only thing she'd lose without the tonfas would be Comet Cannon since she strikes them together to create the floating ball of energy. That being said, she wouldn't be Makoto without them.

And why the "real" storyline takes place in 2199 while the game storyline takes place in 2100, and how all the characters/events are the same as in 99 years in the future, and such like that?

Yes she would :/ She could still retain her "silliness" by simply winding up her arms instead of spinning the Tonfa. It would be a great combination of cartoony silliness mixed with badass-ness (which is main reason I like makoto as a character) when she hits you and you go flying/skidding across the screen. Her DD "punch" sprites don't even display the Tonfa anyway. Pretty sure her crappy "HD" sprites for her DD/AH do display them though. So is there a clear answer to why Noel Vermillion exists yet? Hazama needs entertainment/victims.

During the third attempted tempering of Mu-12, Ibukido was destroyed by Take-Mikazuchi. Cocooned within the Cauldron's space-time projection, she survived, but her tempering was left undone. Her Murakumo programming was later suppressed. And why the "real" storyline takes place in 2199 while the game storyline takes place in 2100, and how all the characters/events are the same as in 99 years in the future, and such like that? what

If they were actually good looking, I'd agree with you. True, their designs are a bit ridiculous, but overall they aren't incredibly bad. I see her using them less as tonfas and more of just weights or equipment to enhance her own strength anyways.

OK, that's a little less confusing. So the explosion that destroyed Ibukido in that timeline in Makoto's video was the tampering of Mu-12, correct?

In any case, you've already got your cartoon silliness with j.D (using her tail to stay in the air for the startup charge), j.2C (fluffy tail of doom), and her various grab animations. Also, Planet Crusher (auto-sell for me maining this character back in late CS1 along with her broken-tier damage). The only thing left to do is remove her apple head (WHO thinks this is EVER a good idea?!) ...is there a hidden meaning to this or are you just saying her head is shaped like an apple? >.>

They do it to make a character look young/foolish/cute but it just looks incredibly stupid to me, ESPECIALLY in sprite-form where we have limited room for detail with the pixels. Carl is an apple head too but he has the good sense to hide it with his overcompensation hat. Anyways, can anyone summarize for me what exactly Azrael's role is?
