TheGreatReptar Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I love how late Muramura cancels 623C into j.236D. It pretty much confirms that that OS idea I wrote about works, although from the looks of it, Muramura actually just reacts and does whatever followup he feels like
Kiba Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Definately. Athena Nihonbashi 6/3 Taokaka vs Tsubaki 6/17 Tsubaki vs Kikuchiyo (LI) Konan I see what you did there in those Playspot Big One matches, and I don't like it. Edited June 20, 2013 by Kiba
TheGreatReptar Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Konan was on a stream again? Also, you goofed up the time stamp on the vs Kikuchiyo match. Forgot the s at the end so it starts at the beginning
Surf Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 No he was on one of the 3on3 teams but of course he doesn't show up on video.
TheGreatReptar Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Everyone should start spamming his Twitter telling him to let himself get recorded.

I didn't add it because you don't have to. Before I made the edit to the Taokaka video it was working fine without the s. ブレイブルーCP ツバキ&イザヨイ コンボムービー 「シンデレラ……」 (5:50) #sm21159956 http://nico.ms/sm21159956 #BBCP #Tsubaki #Izayoi #ComboVideo Thanks. Daedron Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Yoooooo, that was pretty hype. Loving the 22B > 5D > 5C pickups. 3K from 6A in the corner chargeless AND meterless? yes please.
Kiba Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 I knew the charge > 5C > 2C pickups were quite handy from when Muramura was using it, but it's nice to know that they're that good in that it's granting Tsubaki with one whole stock. Nice to also know that 6BB also has a lot of untechable time to allow a full charge 22B followup.
Adam0812 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Does the length of time you charge 22b dictate how quickly you gain charge after knockdown??

Kiba Posted July 1, 2013 Author Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) 6/29 Ampira Kin Pika (TS) vs Waraku (HZ) Kin Pika (TS) Toi San (AZ) Kin Pika (TS) vs Purepure (TS) Makki (RC) VS Purepure (TS) Kin Pika (TS) vs Harupin (AR) Kin Pika (TS) vs Hisuta (PT) Kin Pika (TS) vs Sato (HK) Now there was a couple of interesting things that happened within these sets. Against Hazama at 1:06 you can see he uses the 6BB > 22B max charge for an alternative combo route from 6BB > 22D. Unfortunately he dropped the combo with followup 6C (which I assume was supposed to be dash 5C) so we don't know how strong that combo is. Against Azrael, Kin Pika caught his wakeup backdash with a 5BB, which he confirmed into some decent damage. I wish he did 6CC > 214B > Stuff though because that probably would've gone into more damage and it would've been interesting to see how strong 5BB is with 1 stock and 25% heat. Also, that means 5BB has more of a use; can be used in an attempt to catch Azrael's backdash in the corner on wakeup. Remember if he blocks it you still have mixup. I assume this can be the same case with 5CC. at 4:54 he optimises the 214D hit with the 214B > 22B > 5D > 5C > 2CC stuff which is cool. Against Purepure, at 8:09 - Kin Pika uses IAD j.CC on his wakeup and he managed to go past the DP. You also see Kin Pika get bodied by two blade supers in a row. Against the Arakune, at 16:22 rather than going for the regular combo, Kin Pika opted for a tk.236A and managed to create some air oki. Arakune looks like he would have to block the projectile, giving you your mixup/pressure advantage. This looks extremely useful and looks like it has the potential to create a whole load of interesting mixups for us. Against Platinum, at 17:56 CG > RC > 6A > 5C > 2C works, and lastly against the Hakumen at 21:09 Kin Pika caught the player with a 3CC hit and managed to followup from it, scoring 3.2k, but I'm sure he could've optimised it more. Would've liked to see that. Also, here's a set between Tsubakichi (TS) vs Purepure (TS). I'm indecisive about uploading this, but the only thing to note about the match is that back throw > OD > AH works, and back throw > Mugen > 6C works. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21253052 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21253230 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21253434 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21253702 Edited July 1, 2013 by Kiba
Airk Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Just wanted to say thanks, not only for collecting all these videos, but for your commentary; It's super valuable to have someone pointing out "noteworthy things" so that I'm not relying on my currently sketchy "What works in CP" knowledge.
TheGreatReptar Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Hey Kiba, all the links in the last batch are 404ing except the first one. I don't think you timestamp them the same with shortened URLs

Airk Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Picking through the Arc Revo videos, I've run into a few with Tsubaki. Will leave it to the Japanese speakers/readers to figure out who they are. Also, danger: Shakey cam. Tsubaki vs Tao Tsubaki vs Azrael Tsubaki vs Nu
