So something like 5C>6C>6B>5B>5C>5D>Sekka>5B>5C>3C>Musou>follow up would be crouching corner combo? And regular corner combo would probably be 5B>5C>5D>Sekka>6C>6B>5B>5C>3C>Musou?

 

Also during one of the videos I saw that Hiyoku causes wallbounce now. I'm not sure what use this is actually gonna have but that's pretty random. Also can we do 5D>Sekka midscreen?

Someone posted a combo (or a theory combo) on twitter that does 4K off 5B for 25 meter.

5B>5C>D DP>6C>6D>5B>5C>sekka>5B>5C>Air stuff = 4k

I also saw combos on twitter about 5B>5C>5D>sekkajin>6C>CT etc. He'll just take a while to optimize/people get used to things...like CS1 or EX. I also recall people complaining about how he was too good/easy last game (what even) so here's their answer.

watching videos, i was wondering if freeze > sekkajin > 6C would work. maybe it'll even work midscreen with a dash, then you can 2D > air combo afterwards

I thought 2D was JCable only during its last freeze frames? Which means that followups aren't possible at all without the freeze?

These new Freeze > 22C, 6B > 5B, and 214B (whiff) ~ C, 66 2B combo routes are hella nice. The loss of 214B corner wall bounce and 214D~C wall stick still hurt but these changes seem like a relatively fair trade overall.

Hopefully, saw Tetsu using a lot of 22C as a combo finisher and then doing meaty j.2Cs but there's probably not enough frame advantage for it to be used as a safe jump.

anyone see 22C fatal? maybe with fatal, you can link 214B ~ C into 2B on standing opponents. or the return of the simpler j.2C > j.C loop :)

im talking about just ending with rehhyou since they look like they get launched about the same height and the move itself has less recovery, im willing to sacrifice some damage for a better situation

Haven't seen it yet but 214B~C > 2B on grounded opponents would be sweet. If not then you could always do 5C > 6C > 214B ~ C, assuming that 22C FC even allows us to link into a normal and not just cancel into the D follow-up lol

I knew that's what you meant, hence my "hopefully". It will probably work seeing how DP C's recovery has been reduced, it seems like people have an easier time doing DP C > 5B combos so I can only assume that if you use it as a combo finisher it should give you enough time to perform a safe jump j.2C, hopefully lol.

I saw him get hit by Konan's DP doing that, so I'm assuming it's not really a safe jump.
