Combos that don't use j.XD, should still be accurate now as that's the only move that's had its proration changed to my knowledge. Just completed it last night/now and it's open now. Introduction has the info needed to start, if there is anything missing (useful notations/etc) or suggestions send it my way.

NecroTheReaper Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Its a reactionary thing, all his D moves have a fair amount of startup and recovery, so if you see em glow gold, led ley and get a free punish. And I just noticed this and it has me a bit worried... why the hell is RYO only 16th dan in the recent footage? He was 19th before patch, and every person who was just as high then is just as high now. Did the backdash nerf hurt that bad or has RYO just been away lately?

I see a lot of great players struggling against even thr more average Koko players. NecroTheReaper Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 But now solo confirms are a LOT better. I find it easier to convert into 6B off an air hit than I do off a ground hit, and with that, we can get at least 2500 damage and corner carry with no ignis cost.

Were-Wulf Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 So I've been well on my way to learning relius, but after I fish for 5b or grab a poke into a combo, I don't know what to do. my neutral is sub par, but I'm assuming my knowledge goes up for thatasi gain more matchup experience, but after I get a hit into say a 3c or j.214b I don't know what to do. I've heard he has really good oki off 3c but I don't know what options they are. I've also heard Delius is capable of unblockables, but when I attempt them, my friends can just mash through it. So any help for what to do after I land a combo?

Midscreen 3C>214C 3C>214B>block 3C>2D j.214B>214C j.214B>6622B>2D Corner (should always end with 3C. 4D for crossunder gimmicks) 3C>214C 3C>214B>block 3C>236D>j.B 3C>2D>block 3C>j.D>j.C 4D>66214C>j.7B
Iron Savior Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 If you land j.214b midscreen, 2d will catch anyone who tries to mash, and you don't need to be close to the enemy to do it since Ignis stays next to them after j.214b, and 4d catches jumpers who don't barrier block 214a catches rolls, forces the opponent to block, and when spaced and timed properly, it also baits dps(and Houtenjin), you can generally use it whenever you knock someone down and get something out of it, if a Haku counters it with Yukikaze, you can even dodge it with 236a

So any help for what to do after I land a combo? It boils down to this, point blank range our poke is 5A/2A/3C->jump cancel punish. Mid range we've got 5B->3C jump cancel+6D. past 3C range we've got 5B->5D/5B->6D->663C/5B->214A->665B->3C. at long range we have 214A->665B/214A->22B->2D->66B/ or IAD j.A/B. and at half a screen away and further we have 214C->66->anything. Right after 3C you can cancel immediately into 236D and jump and use falling j.C and you'll hit them right as they get done neutral teching. you can also use 214C after a 3C ender to get them blocking Tus while you get a free 50/50 mix-up. In both situations you have to watch out for DPs. There's some other things you can do with 3C oki, like summon/de-summon Ignis safely while they are still getting up, or IAD backward or forward to run away while Ignis recharges.

Any time it hits (which is off a lot of things) we get to choose between corner carry, oki and damage. At the very least it does make Rel much more versatile IMO.
