It's unconfirmed but it may have also widened the 2 hit's hitbox, I'm getting it to work in situations it never used to work in.

How do you do solo combos into Gad Leis?, and if the cancel window for Haas and Naids got increased, that could mean burst-safer combos, by delaying Haas slightly after a ground Lauger, i've been able to make a lot of people waste their bursts(accidentally sometimes), a longer cancel window might make it harder to accidentally crew up your combo

Does it feel that way on both Laugers?

Solo combos go normal starter>6B>j.B>delay j.C>2C>6C>41236B>whatever lol

And its been delayable for both versions way longer than I remember. Its interesting thoughm cuz you could go for a 236C SMP setup and delay 214A and get a good reset or a really safe setup. Haas has 22f of blockstun

Nowadays we can just do 5B->6B->5C(1)->2C->6C->41236B->5B->5C->superjump->j.B->j.C->j.236C->j.214B (for about 3290)

 

(on carl it seems like we'll have to replace 5C(1) with 5A... Tch you end up getting 400 less damage than the 6B->j.B route on carl for switching to 5A better off using Necro's on the boy)

 

I'm assuming ground hit and meterless so... solo combos in the corner go.

 

CH3C->falling j.C->2C->236C->5B/665B->6B->TKj.236C->2C->6C->41236B->3C (Also works for punishing late techs)

 

5B->6B->TKj.236C->5C/665C->2C->236C->5B->2C->6C->41236B->3C (3437)

 

 

If you need air hit and meter solo combos just say the word.

So messing around with delayed as hell Haas, you can get Haas to come out pretty much on the ground lol. Even during the recovery animation on ground 236C, you can still hit 214A/B and haas/naidas will show up waaaay late. Seems like it could be an interesting oki option for corner SMP shenanigans

I picked up Relius recently and I'm having a blast, but I'm having a little trouble with 3C > 6D > JB. I'm not sure when I should be hitting the 6D as they tech before I can JB. Should I be hitting 6D after I jump cancel the 3C?

You use 6D as you jump cancel from 3C. The input looks like 3C->9D->falling j.B. You should use each move as late as possible, so 6D hits the opponent right before they touch the ground and you use j.B at the end of 6D's hitstun so that you can touch the ground in time for you 2C to hit.

Okay cool, I'll practice tomorrow. Once I get that down, it's just a case of getting my doll pressure down.

Guyz new Gad leis has mad reset potential. I just did (Back to corner) 4B+C->41236B->5B->2C->6C->41236B->RC->dashgrab.

 

It looks dirty as sin, y'all need to weaponize it

I should actually learn this character for real. All i do is chase people with j.Ds and capitalize on hitconfirms, then abuse the fuck out of one single corner setup. No actual character knowledge here  :v:

Have a 4B+C corner combo instead guyz

 

4B+C->41236B->5B->6B->TKj.236C->5B->2C->6C->236C->3C (3210 damage + 23 heat + Full Ignis prolly.)

Played a bunch of offline today with my friend, didn't get to practice the 3C > 6D > JB shit much, but despite getting bodied I got my pressure down a little.

 

2D > 6A 2stronk.

You should try falling j.C->665B->6A sometime. It's fantastic.

 

Falling j.B->double jump immediate j.C->j.2D->falling j.B is another fun one.

 

Also yolo 5B/3C->236D->forward jump j.C unblockable is amazing even on block.

I'll give that stuff a shot the next time I play. I also need to hitconfirm CH JC more too, I was getting it quite a bit, and I didn't always follow up with 2C > blah blah blah.

 

Character is fuuuuuuun though. I wish I could gear super more though, the new input is a ballache.

2363214C is easier for me though, I dont like having to cross from 4->6 under pressure, I always used to end up doing 63214136C and everything would go up in flames.

I dunno, i prefer 632146 motions, even if they have to be perfect on hitbox. What I dislike more is when trying to go for a safejump, go for 2C>6C frametrap, and because I input it j.1C>2C the game reads it as 22C. Only a few times, and i know I could hold one, this usually happens when I get a bit jumpy.

If you still have problems with the falling j.5B combo you may have the timing wrong.  You can't do it as soon as the 3C hits, you have to wait a half a second or so then do 9D.

I'm not certain this is the right thread for this question, but here goes:

 

I skipped CSE, and am looking at picking up Relius for CP. Is the beginner guide (which looks to be dated for CSE) still mostly right for CP?
