Rigel Cyrosea Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 The reason BB replaced P4A was that it's a lot of people's second game, but almost nobody's first game. All the entrants for P4A at the last tournament would already have come for a different game. BB, on the other hand, has some dedicated people that only play BB. Still, when I made that observation to Myles, I didn't expect him to take P4A out entirely, just run it as a side game instead of a main game. If there's space and demand, I'll do my best to make sure it's run anyway.

DerQ Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I don't mind bringing a PS3 + monitor myself and to answer your earlier question, I don't think anyone in MTL will mind with whatever happens to P4A. That's not to say we wouldn't enter, but I think it's safe to assume we'll just shrug and move on.
Essay Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Are people coming out to HQ for practice Friday night? How early are people showing up for casuals on tournament day anyway? Registration deadline is 1PM by the looks of it. Also, how are we on tourney setups anyway? I have an easy enough time alternating between GG on Xbox and PS3, but since it's all Xboxes there, I figure we probably want our own PS3's to avoid the question of Xbox input lag. (At least, that's a thing in GG; although, it's minimal and I think most of us in town aren't phased by it, eh?) I understand Rigel was bringing his PS3. It can't hurt to bring your consoles either, LiveWireX and DerQ. Any other PS3's planning on making the trip? If it's a difference of needing a set of wheels or not, PM me.

I can't tonight because of work and from what I've heard Bronson street is under construction so that's no good. Regarding the PS3 setups I'll be bringing mine tomorrow (with P4A copy) just in case there's any demand/shortage. I can't remember any combos but I'd help support P4 if it's a side-tournament. It's okay Will, all you have to do is pick Elizabeth and press all the buttons simultaneously to apply zoning/frame traps/setups. Adam doesn't even have the game but he's the best Elizabeth player in Ottawa for a reason

Unless you have back pain issues or have to bus. Anyway, can anyone recommend a good parking spot (for the whole day) near where the tournament is going to be held? Also knowing how much it'll cost will help.

Not sure when I'll arrive tomorrow, depends how long it takes to get there. Probably between 11:00 and 12:00.

I've run out of OSAP. 5 bucks says I win, and another 5 bucks says you walk into one of my Ume-D-Grabs. Also, still playing a lot of that Melty Blood. The netcode isn't too bad.
