MADTHOR Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Ok, in my country the BB community is small but there a lot of people who knows about the game but dont play it, there's a bunch of people who watch anime a lot...so this anime will get people to the game...Im asking for a good link to spread over the social networks, groups and more that can get their attention to grow our bb community and have more players. Someone can give a good link to make this advertisement? hahaha that have the promotional video of course
kosmos badgirl Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 First episode added to the official site. http://blazblue-am.jp/episode/index.html Tomorrow the first episode will be aired on TOKYO MX, can't wait.
SolxBaiken Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Hmm, guess no one is going to pick this up for simulcast? Oh well.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 Hmm, guess no one is going to pick this up for simulcast? Oh well. I'm surprised, from what my friend told me, the Blu Ray was the most pre-ordered product on AmiAmi. ...So what, is someone gonna record and put it on with the commercials? Because that would suck.

Because that would suck. Um, no, its the most popular in its category. Popular product, lol hell no. I was kind of hoping Crunchyroll would get this but so far nothing, might air it late/delay, its happened before. I'll watch either way long as its not crap subs. TheYukianesa-01 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 It's called Crimson Rebel. Whats written is basically about Ragna going to Kagutsuchi and going to the cauldron to find Nu.
Emma Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Hmm, guess no one is going to pick this up for simulcast? Oh well. Apparently Funimation is doing the simulcast.
raziel12 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 well its no doubt that this will come to the states but if they do hopefully they use the real cast from the game i look foward to the anime tomorrow seems like this season anime seems to looks good but over the summer anime season was kinda lame
SolxBaiken Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Apparently Funimation is doing the simulcast. Yep, just saw the news, good. Really don't feel like buying a full DVD set just to watch Calamity Trigger...again again
Zedar90 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Well after seeing this video: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21884039 it doesn't look like it will be an adaption of CT exactly. If I understood it correctly it will be mostly original content. For example we will get a better picture why the citizens of Ikaruga is so fond of Bang, and sides of Jin that aren't the "nii-san, nii-san machine". It will also be easier to understand the plot for first time watcher than it was for the game player playing the story mode for the first time.
Ajantas Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I remember someone saying that the English cast is already dubbing stuff for the JP BBCP sound effects or something? I mean it would be great if they got the Bang Zoom dub cast from the game to dub the anime at the same time as BBCP. More bang for your buck! Or I wonder with FUNimation would just go ahead and use their own cast and only have a select few say... Critisna Vee and Patrick Seitz. But I am doubtful considering FUNimation probably gives zero damns about the consistency of the original voice cast.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 Well Patrick Seitz works at Funimation too, so... In any case, we don't know who's dubbing it so that's still up in the air.
SoWL Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Hazama's laughs are so short, he almost sounds like Ryuuji Yamazaki... Oh wait, you've never heard of Fatal Fury. (´・ω・`)

Yeah... if that's the case, all the more reason to watch this After all it isn't called "Blazblue: The Animation"
LeDom Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 If funimation cares a tiny bit about authenticity, they'll hopefully outsource the dub like they did with Black Lagoon and Hellsing Ultimate. If I recall correctly, Patrick Seitz took care of the voice directing (at least in CT) so hopefully he'll do the same for the show and try and get the original cast.
blackhybrid Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) I was hoping it wouldn't be Funimation... better cast Vee. >_> I hope their streaming is better, I remember when I was trying to support them, and it took me the length of an episode, just to get the show to load and my internet speed isn't even bad. TheYukianesa-01 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 If Jin is not voiced by David Vincent I'll feel uncomfortable everytime he opens his mouth.
Tokkan Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) Cristina Vee's gonna be in some upcoming Funimation dub, she teased she was signing for a Funimation show at NYCC. https://twitter.com/CristinaVee/status/385228466984996864 Please note that Funimation picking up a show for simulcast is not the same as picking it up for a dub and BD/DVD, those 3 things are entirely separate licensing agreements. They typically only do a BD/DVD release of a show they simulcast if people actually watch the damn thing on their site. Edited October 7, 2013 by Tokkan
RifleAvenger Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 When is Funimation going to stream it in GMT -5? And will there be English and/or Spanish subs?
Dawn of Musou Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I'm going to NYCC on Friday so I just hope the line to see her isn't long lol. If the show is Blazblue then that's pretty cool.
LeDom Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I seriously doubt a dub would be announced, let alone upcoming, right after the original show starts airing in Japan. Not 100% impossible, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
