harmless kitten Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Seithr concentration increases the lower in elevation you go, and not even Makoto (who is exceptionally resistant, even for a beastkin) is totally immune. Maybe they're trying to forget about the Hierarchical Cities being confined to mountainous areas?
Tokkan Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Maybe it's like Battleship Bay (I think that was what it was called) in Bioshock Infinite, that was an artificial beach in a flying city.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I thought Makoto suffered persecution as a child. How's she's supposed to do that out in the seithr were humans can't live?
mAc Chaos Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Could have just been at certain points in her life.
Chaoschao222 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 and Makoto's joke end says she grew up by the sea. Makoto's joke end says joke end
harmless kitten Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I think some of the information presented in her joke ends is correct, like the names of her siblings and where she grew up, it's just...dramatized. Greatly. Some of the joke ends aren't far off, like Noel being an awful cook or Ragna being frightened of ghosts.
Dawn of Musou Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I always thought since CT that for fillers, a BB anime could use the alternate timeline stuff.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 I think some of the information presented in her joke ends is correct, like the names of her siblings and where she grew up, it's just...dramatized. Greatly. Some of the joke ends aren't far off, like Noel being an awful cook or Ragna being frightened of ghosts. Well neither of those were canon until recently
Vulcan422 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I thought Ragna's "dislike" section on his profile back from CT was "ghosts".
BlackYakuzu94 Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 So I just noticed there was a nipple on that render of Noel. ...oh god guys.
SoWL Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 So I just noticed there was a nipple on that render of Noel. ...oh god guys. People have nipples? Whoah.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 People have nipples? Whoah. Don't patronize me. I dunno, maybe I'm being paranoid.
YukiBlue Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Meh, who cares. I'm still waiting for Litchi's boobs. That'll be a sight if the Animators follow precedent.
ThatOnePerson Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 (edited) I hadn't thought about until it was mentioned in the CP general thread, but how do you think they'll animate some character's fighting? I'm mostly thinking of Rachel with her lightning rods and whatnot, and Nu considering the swarms flying swords do most of the fighting for her. To a lesser extent, Arakune, with the bugs and clouds flying all over the place. Edited June 6, 2013 by ThatOnePerson

mAc Chaos Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Nu should be easy considering certain other sword hurling characters. Some of the other characters though... what makes sense on a 2D plane when you just fight in a straight line looks weird when you have 3 dimensions to move in.
TPPR10 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 With some one like Litchi' either most of her D moves will be the sideway version of she can control the direction of her staff more freely than usual. On Rachel, I think she might be able to summon multiple rods or she can just ignore gameplay and summon lighting jsut like that.
kylehyde Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I think animation wise, Calamity Trigger had a pretty action packed opening, plus there was that 5 second sword fight with Jin and Ragna. Oh, but CS Extend also had very nice fighting scenes in its opening.
Kyosuke Kagami Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 CT intro's action sequences were complete ass. They made no sense. CS2 and CSEX are a lot better.
Dawn of Musou Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 CT intro's action sequences were complete ass. They made no sense. CS2 and CSEX are a lot better. But you can't go wrong with Bang punching a rock.
kylehyde Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 CT intro's action sequences were complete ass. They made no sense. They made sense if they were just trying to introduce the characters and their powers. You know which intro really sucked ass? Continuum Shifts, that was ASS. Not extend's that was awesome, but just regular old CS.
Chaoschao222 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 It's unfortunate that CS's arcade intro was better than the console slideshow.
Tokkan Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 http://blazblue-am.jp/character/index.html They added the character page. Currently only has bios and character sheets for Noel and Ragna.
