Same here, I banned the dub from my ears upon hearing too many dubbed atrocities.

Yeah... I don't know about some series but when I used to watch dub all the time before watching original japanese anime, I was dissatisfied of how voice actors sucked...

The OST Remixes in the anime are kokonoe tier.

Yeah I love them lol

I only care about sub vs dub depending on VA quality.

Like I prefer Hellsing in English because Japan can't do accents.

And sometimes I prefer dubs because I can listen to it without having to concentrate solely on the screen if I'm doing other things.

Dubbing has improved by leaps and bounds in the last decade, though. Voice acting has become a much more serious profession, both in games and anime. Some dubs are even distinct improvements over the original Japanese.

The main problem is that the English dubbing talent pool is still really small. It feels like an echo chamber compared to what we get from Japanese talent. I'm sick of seeing Monica Rial, Johnny Yong Bosch, Vic Mignogna, and Greg Ayres' names show up like clockwork on practically every anime under the sun that gets dubbed.

Anyway, it doesn't affect me because I stopped listening to dubs years ago and have no intention of going back.

I don't even know any English dubbers or any of their names 8D

What the hell did they do to that Jin face. It looked perfect the way it was. He looked like he was one second away from snapping someone's neck in outrage.

At least animation art quality improved...

Yeah, now I wonder what will happen soon in Vol.3 with the "Trollface Quality" when it comes out... :kitty:

I agree. The original version had this really wild and unkempt look to it, especially with the hair and the narrowed eyes.

Thanks for the pics, some of the changes are very good.

Thanks Sourenga! It's nice to see some of the differences between the TV and BluRay versions. Now I'm considering if I should get a BluRay copy myself.

The "Quality" pics and gifs everyone puts up, that, and the majority antics of Hazama/Terumi...more or less.

(OT: Speaking of, Vol. 3 is out this week, I would wonder [as I've said before] how the "Quality" of these eps would go better this time.)
