Regardless of AC+'s validity, realize that not all story lines themselves are canon. There is no way to make that particular path canon without causing a paradox [and in most cases] a closed loop of time flow.

I always thought of Order Sol as little more than a fanservice character like Kliff and Justice. I would say having him on the roster is unnecessary since we've already got a functional Sol...if I were a fool and didn't play Order Sol almost exclusively during the days of the PS2 AC+. Honestly, I'd like to think his chances are 50-50. Even if Sol beating him is canon (IIRC the reason Sol's Dragon's Install is increasing in power is beacause Order Sol damaged the Gear Prevention device during the clash). I wanna see Dizzy. You and me both. And Johnny. Where there's May there's Johnny. Or is it the other way around?

Ideally, they could be following what I was hoping for months ago: Arc is taking this as the opportunity to really have a concerted effort to market GGXRD on a worldwide scale, in a similar way that Capcom did SF4 and its updates. I'd like to think that they can still have a great arcade following in Japan, while not forcing the rest of us to wait 8-12 months for ports. DLC pretty much means that they could have things where balance updates and even characters can be released in Arcades first and enjoy a run there for like a month or two before being made available for the home version, if they were at all interested in doing things this way.

He's my main so I kinda wish he remains but if the new char or the robo version or w/e is in then I won't complain. If he indeed is scrapped...well...I'll just use Slayer I guess. (yeah, he's not been shown yet but I doubt he'll be absent)

There's no way Bridget won't be in Xrd, he's hilariously more iconic than Sol. They've probably finalized which characters will make it before that poll was finished. And you never know, it could be another instance like Mai being absent in XII.
