That and Millia and Venom were already confirmed on the website over a month ago, and going by screenshots, trailers and loctest feedback/footage, it's not going to be 3v3.

Axl, Millia and Venom have been confirmed so far. If 3-vs-3 elimination team matches are a standard for this game, then I'll use them all for each match I play.

Hope they handle the 3vs3 better in Xrd, as in seamless transition between fights.

I really hope they keep the revolver design for Bridget's yoyo, would be hype to shoot people from a set yoyo.

Gatling yoyo?

Roger with a gun?

...Roger Gatling?

...and then, for some reason, I imagined Bridget doing Zappa sword poses. :|

But yeah, I don't care too much about what happens to Bridget as long as he's still 'it'. /cough

Though I suppose I would like his gameplay to stay pretty similar to how it is now.

Before people got consistent with her ChemLove FRC, people would use her air super in it's place.

I forget; how good was I-no between AC+ and ACR? Was Chemical Love FRC really what made her stand her ground or was it something else that made her either good/bad?

In 3v3 in Xrd, the next character should just pop out of the screen, instead of the transition. :o

I really hope that's the case. The old version of character switches is so jarring.

I don't think she's ever gone higher than mid-tier really. You'd want to ask somebody more familiar with her like Honnou or Mynus for reasons though since she has huge damage and great mixups, so I'm not exactly sure what her drawbacks are.

Sorry, didn't know. :(

Thank you for clarifying. I wasn't able to read all pages back.

EDIT: may I ask you to point me the thread or post so I can read all info?

Done.

Sorry, I got excited by seeing those images. Is that okay now?

I'm pretty sure she's considered low-tier for AC+ (not that tiers matter). She only has something like 4 good matchups. May vs I-No is one of the worst matchups in the game, though this is GG so it's still doable. I-No's biggest weakness is probably her hitboxes. She's not the kind of character that can throw out moves willy-nilly and have them beat other moves. Her moves are good at what they do, but they have specific uses.

She should definitely be stronger in +R, though it's still early to say anything concrete. A second airdash does a lot for her game, FBnote and FBdive are amazing moves that are probably among the best force breaks in the game, her max damage output is still around 50% for little meter if she has the right set up (not counting guard bar, which she's even better at building in +R). I think I remember reading somewhere here that Koichi thought she would wind up high-tier in +R.

Chemical Love FRC isn't really anything that makes her amazing. It's more like a minimum requirement to not sucking. CL does 45 damage, so doing HCL FRC airdash not only gives corner push (which leads to high damage with dive loops), but lets her go into fastfall VCL (another 45 damage). It's close to her optimum damage output to string chemical loves if you have meter, but it also sets up corner combos that don't require additional meter. And 5K > HCL > FRC Airdash gives her options out of way more pokes and set ups.

Though in +R, you could maybe substitute FBdive for the corner push in some places. Less damage overall, but it's easier to do provided you're in range to TK it out of a jump cancelable normal. It's also pretty great to TK to go ground to air against moves, and out of j.P air-to-air exchanges.

Sacred Treasure: Flashing Tooth (神器「閃牙」)

A fucking lightbulb with an hourglass inside? Wasn't it supposed to be an Iaido sword?

Also will Slayer finally incorporate his dagger Jinki in his gameplay?

Only the following Jinki are missing now:

-Ekitoku (益篤) "Increasing Fervor"

-Kojouhaku (湖上白) "White on the Lake"

Aaaand here it is:

Yamanaka announcing "Guilty Gear Vastedge" officially. From what I can tell, 'Story scenario written under Ishiwatari's supervision', and 'music by Ishiwatari' included. (Correct me actual Japanese speakers if I'm reading this wrong, please!)

Of course, since it's Pachinko, we'll never get it............

Some people assumed it was Johnny's weapon because he has an attack called Ensenga. However, his attack is more accurately translated as "Swallow's Pecking Beak."

I see, thanks for explaining. It's been years since I played GG and even then, all I seemed to gravitate to was Sol (normal and Order flavored) so I never really understood I-no. Kinda wish I did since she sounds very fun now that I have not played the game in so long.

Then again, that's what Xrd is for after all. New game, new possibilities and a whole lot of "Heaven or Hell".

Based off my bad translation of Yamanaka's tweets

I guess on a soundtrack note. There will be 5 songs composed for Vastedge(not including Heavy Day). They may also reappear in Xrd as well.

Also to note that although Vastedge may be a translated typo for "vestige". I honestly think they have named it Vastedge purposely combining "Vast" and "edge" for one cool looking word. Like "Blazblue" for example.

PLZ Correct me.
