9TNine Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Still having a hard time imaging the CL follow-up. Hopefully some vids come out overnight. -9
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I wanted to scream "dibs" when I saw that posted screenshot, but I didn't want to get DoT'd in the face. If you get to play I-No again, can you do HCL > YRC > dash? I wanna know if it auto jump installs now. That would be huge news. Does she seem to have the same normals as before? And can you FDC her j.D for that silly float/bounce? Is her note like P note (starts slow, then speeds up), H note (starts fast then slows down), or does it move at a fixed speed? Does it still cap at 5 hits from max distance? If you super jump and do VCL, do you recover in the air in time to do another action like dash or do another normal? Thanks. Ok just tested I-no and the dude let me try stuff. You can air dash after YRC chemical love both versions even if you start on the ground. Her far slash doesn't launch at all on regular hit. Dunno about counter. I assume you means her air sphere super? She can't do anything after it until she hits the ground. The note is a constant speed. Does 5 hits full screen.
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Any particular changes to May or Pot? Look what I said about Pots 6hs. Dunno otherwise yet
9TNine Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) You can air dash after YRC chemical love both versions even if you start on the ground. Holy shit. They finally did it. Her far slash doesn't launch at all on regular hit. Dunno about counter. Sounds more like #R, but that isn't necessarily bad in this case. -9 Edited November 2, 2013 by 9TNine
Jocelot Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I'm guessing Axl's Axl Bomber is the original, pre ^C/+R one that goes up? I wonder if it can be looped in the corner multiple times like #Reload.

Jump Install HCL I actually meant Vertical Chemical Love. Thanks for testing Fortissimo (the air super) though! Did that move make a lot of noise? So yeah, if you see someone else do it or get another chance, do Vertical Chemical Love really high in the air and see if it's still in recovery until landing, or if it's like +R where they allowed it to recover in the air. Oh, I wonder if her airthrow range is back to being good or if it's worst in the game again to compensate for her hoverdash. Could you check how far away you can air throw someone from with I-No? And unrelated to I-No, can you check out characters' taunts/respects? Are they in the game yet?
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Faust can also cancel the initial pull of rerere no tsuki into ground combos like old reload but it costs 50%. Far S on counter combos into pogo like always. Also, 2D combos clean into pogo on light characters like always (tested in Millia)
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Also maybe I saw Fausts 3rd color wrong but I just played and got a cool brown color with pimp pin stripes on his pants.
Kurushii Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 http://www.famitsu.com/news/201311/02042655.html
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Axl unblockable move much slower now and doesn't go full screen. Faust full rerere into swat still builds tons of meter
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Anything new with Sol? Not that I noticed so far
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 One of the cabs just went blue screen of death lol
Layer Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Axl bomber does not knock opponent as high. Can still catch and loop 2 in corner but timing seems strict. Air dive Axl bomber removed. Oh man, not sure how I feel about that. When they originally replaced the bomber with the downward one I was up in arms in how they messed up my only good combo. After years of getting used to it though.... Glad to hear I-No's character is being treated with the dignity she deserves. Also, le sad that there wasn't one more character announcement before loketest started.
Kamano Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 http://www.famitsu.com/news/201311/02042655.html I noticed in one of these screens you can see Axl doing 2H on I-no, and on screen there is both the stagger meter (yay) and now a button icon instead of the joystick shake animation. Is that new to this location test or were staggers showing button icons previously? Is it even new to be able to push buttons to recover from stagger?
GaijinMo Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 You mentioned that Slayer looked #R-ish, but he still has j.2K. Are his air combos relaunch-based like AC onward or back to being air chains like pre-AC? Thanks for all of your impressions.

Glad to hear I-No's character is being treated with the dignity she deserves. Also, le sad that there wasn't one more character announcement before loketest started. Dignity? She's a raging skank, and, ironically, they made her easier. Not complaining though. I-No's playstyle is really cool and I'm glad you don't have to grind for months just to do basics with her anymore. I noticed in one of these screens you can see Axl doing 2H on I-no, and on screen there is both the stagger meter (yay) and now a button icon instead of the joystick shake animation. Is that new to this location test or were staggers showing button icons previously? Is it even new to be able to push buttons to recover from stagger? I think it was confirmed at the last test, or even before it, that they were making it so you can mash out of stagger with button presses instead of only using the stick.
#Xrd #GGXrd #guiltygear google translation: It seems that some people noticed, but the color of the pupil of the Ino changes to seven colors depending on the camera angle. Staff told me to reproduce faithfully the setting. You can see in the Famitsu screens that her eyes are different colors in different shots. One shot even looks like they're a gradient from yellow to red. Very cool.
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I just saw someone combo Faust 5p after rerere pull in with no RC

I honestly have zero exp ever using Slayer so I don't know but ill let u know if I find out more
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Correction. After Fausts spring board item hits, hit character can air recover a little before hitting the ground
