kosmos badgirl Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Slayer stage is great, with Sharon standing there and the big picture.
ElvenShadow Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Like this? http://dengekionline.com/elem/000/000/745/745168/ Why the long face, doctor? That's it! Looks way cooler in motion.
Grimsley-San Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Is there anything about how their IKs will look like?
OneSanitarium Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 If you get the chance the next time you're at the loketest, can you see what I-nos forward follow-up to Dust is? I assume it's just a normal hover dash forward, but could you also see if you can dash forward and do a VCL to hit the opponent? Who knows, maybe there are even some good combos afterwards! Again, thanks for the information in general. It's made me so excited for Xrd.
MasamuneXGP Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Thanks for everything, ElvenShadow. Next time you're there, could you check if May still has that huge startup lag on her HS dolphins?
Mumm-Ra Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Faust's drill Cancel still works like always? Thanks for everything ES.
Kyosuke Kagami Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Thank you, Elven! So, are YRC and PRC the newer forms of the Forced Roman Cancel? From what I understood, YRC is the same old mechanic we know and love, while the PRC is a punishment for people who fail to get the timing right. Elven, do you know what kind of moves can be YRCed? Any special move (minus DPs), or just certain moves? Also, how does the time delay thing work if you do a YRC or PRC? Do you also get time delay with red RC?
Blade Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) Here's my questions (if someone can answer them): ---Can you jump/airdash after High Jump (Super Jump 2-8 input then 8 again) like you can in BlazBlue? Or do you still have to rely on Jump Install yet? ---There's a globe on Character Select that shows locations of characters/stages...can anyone tell me where everything is located on the globe/map? ---Can I-No Airdash after YRC Chemical Love? (That was annoying to do due to strict timing for me). Also any chance she has her "Black Outfit" Alt later on (from #Reload w/ Pink Guitar)? ---How does Blitz Shield work on repelled "air" attacks? (Say someone does a Jumping Normal or IAD Normal and you BS it) Do they just bounce away as untechable or can you follow up and punish? ---Someone mentioned the "roll away" state that happens when Potemkin hits with 6H...does this hit state relaunch like Ground Slide in AC? (Not just for Potemkin of course, but for everyone?) ---Oh yeah almost forgot, does anyone know what the deal was with Millia in the 2nd Trailer? Where you do the Dust Combo with Venom at that 3D angle, and Millia comes back down the same way (Venom launches her, and she comes back down towards the camera)? Was that aspect of Dust ever explained? Edited November 2, 2013 by Blade
Kyosuke Kagami Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I think Elven mentioned you have to jump install, like in #R. He did that with some of Faust's moves.
destruction_adv Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I think Elven mentioned you have to jump install, like in #R. He did that with some of Faust's moves. Actually, IIRC he said that chemical love auto jump installs if that's what er're talking about
9TNine Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) Slayer's Monocle = more proof of Model flipping (Unless he's that badass and just switches the eye it's on whenever he switches sides ), Faust's eye-hole, and Venom's pants. Judging from Media pics, loketest machines are using the 2P stage rule, however there's a pic of Millia at the forest stage ElvenShadow mentioned. It could be her stage just isn't ready yet, as I don't think she had a unique one in the last test either. That or it's Millia's stage and they just threw Faust there. That would also make Axl's stage the very halloween-looking Train stage (the flag is also printed on top of the train) and I-no's the seemingly barren city. Slayer's is pretty obvious. -9 Edited November 2, 2013 by 9TNine
Kyosuke Kagami Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Actually, IIRC he said that chemical love auto jump installs if that's what er're talking about Oh lol, i thought he said something related to Faust in that regard, no I-no
geoomega Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 first video on i-no from the loke-test is on youtube .. here is the link.
fiendmaw Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 first video on i-no from the loke-test is on youtube .. here is the link. Excellent.
TheRealBobMan Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Thanks for all of the info guys! You rock!
Blade Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 first video on i-no from the loke-test is on youtube .. here is the link. Why do people post things ABOUT links but never the links themselves???? *facepalm*
zdravkelja Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Are Dead Angle attacks still in? I can't see anyone using DA when they have Blitz Shield. Is there some drawback of BS I'm not aware of?
Blade Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Drawback to Blitz Shield is that you can't be blocking. Ever. Dead Angle lets you block.
freelander Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Overall I'm a little bit disappointed, because it seems like a lot of characters are more or less just reverted back to their #Reload versions. Chipp for example was terrible in #Reload, he just felt like an incomplete character to me till AC. Maybe all the shit in AC+R is a bit too much, but I feel #Reload is too little.

I wouldn't be too quick to say this quite yet since this is a loketest and they did stress that the game was going to be built FROM #R characters. I mean Slayer retained his bite loop from #R and I doubt that's gonna stick. They're just placeholders to show that these characters work in this system IMO.

(as a placeholder before I got +R)

That's pretty much how i feel about Xrd in general, going back to #R is a big step backwards. I guess they'll start with #R mechanics and eventually (in the next iteration) will switch to Slash and then AC mechanics... off course with some new mechanics to go with. Still, i want to see some ninja-footage
