Ok so there is a lot to read..so figd I would just ask...what rc's take 25%? Are there any major changes to the game play mechanics? And just a request but please but frc's back in the game lol

Regarding YRCs, they might work the same as FRCs worked in AC, for projectile based combos. Mash the YRC after the move comes out, before it hits, and you have your 1-2 frame window, with your move hitting, allowing you to combo after.

It might work for physical attacks as well, depending on how fast the YRC cancels the animations of the attack.

Again, I haven't had a chance to play so all of this is theoretical.

Impressions guys? I hear it looks a lot slower gameplay. I'm at work and can't use that data.

Wow I didn't imagine 3hs and Split Ciel would already prove to be so useful in Ky's blockstrings, just placing a grinder in front of them at the end of a block string creates a lot of mind games since if they stay, you get a free DC CSE mixup, more so int eh corner or you can bait them with jump baits like dc se or jk/2hs. I'm loving this.

@4r5, there were a few moments where js whiffed may when she was crouching like at 0:09. But other times it hit her or made her block so I'm not entirely sure what to say right now.

I'm already loving Durandal Call, 3hs (which i believe combos into GS), and Split Ciel. Can't wait for this game to be released

in Japanese Arcades

I've said ti before, the game looks slower, but nowhere near to the level of BBCT/BBCS1, it just doesn't look quite as fast as AC. But AC is always seen as one of the fastest highest octane games out there.

Ya, that half-moon front slash that Ky was doing seemed like it will be a staple for blockstrings since it looks to pretty safely put out a sigil thing. Also super hype for May now. That ball looks awesome and I can't wait for dolphin riding and YRC tricks.

May needs a color where her beach balls are green like a watermelon and she has orange hair and a green getup and we're done.

Any idea what those gears that show up below the heath bars are (May vs Ky)? They show up in the first round during danger time when one player lands a hit, and again in the third round near the end when Ky lands a 5D and when May lands a burst. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the combo > IK mechanic, maybe? Just a guess.

Also, May gets a slow, big projectile. :v:

I hope we get more Millia info soon. I want to see what she can do with her roll followups! Valentine looks pretty sick as well, her sword oki setups make me think that she may be akin to the Dizzy of Xrd.

Man Danger Time happening is the most jarring shit I've ever seen, it takes roughly 4 seconds of an unneeded custscene. What's this, MMZ?
