I couldn't enter any qualifiers this past weekend.  I tried on Saturday but my train got delayed so I wouldn't have made it on time....  Sunday I had other business to tend to so I couldn't try.  2 more chances for me and that's it...

Fun fact: Daisuke Ishiwatari actually helped a lot with the early concepts of many of the original BlazBlue cast, but he is not listed as a character designer. #themoreyouknow

 

Really though, it just reeks of catering to a modern age, which is sad but in these times [particularly for that region, seriously, do you guys understand how brutal the entertainment medium in Japan is; particularly for anime, manga, and things that share the aesthetic] it is somewhat necessary.

The game modes are pretty straight forward and pretty much offer nothing we already don't know: Rank match is pretty much setup how it is in CP, where you can participate in offline modes while you queue up. Tutorial lets you pick between either Sol or Sin as your instructor, both fully voiced. Profile looks like it will be your overall stat tracker, it would be a wish to have something as detailed as DoA 5 but I'm hoping for at least UNiB quality with the breakdown of your matchup frequency.

 

Also "Hate" is not the opposite of love, people are expressing grievances specifically BECAUSE they care so much, and this is to be expected, a title that hasn't been touched in over a decade is making changes and it is general human nature to resist change. Right now many are just restless and there's not a whole lot we can do until we have the game in our hands, at which point a lot of the concerns will be a moot point because FUK YEAH, A NEW GUILTY GEAR!

Zato has 2 chances to break into arc. 2 SPOTS. It is guaranteed that one of these three character will NOT be represented -Zato, May, or Axl

Ogawa hasn't even tried to qualify, it would be nice to see him and at least one Zato with a Gold Ticket. Ashura can do it too. But it's sad to see that some characters won't make it.

 

For the "new" character, I think her design is very nice, but it's maybe too similar to Ramlethal. If she's playable, I hope she won't be as bulky on the screen as Ramlethal. I don't know if it would fit with her "pink loli" appearance.
