Does anyone know where to order the JPN version online? I don't want to wait for the US release. Thank you.

Someone posted this video in the Elphelt thread because it shows off some of her gameplay (and Sin), but I'm reposting it here because you can also see a lot of the UI.  The main menu looks nice and clean, and shows off all of the menu options at the same time (no scrolling through something just to see what's next to it, or what's next to that).  Under the "Battle" tab we have "arcade", "vs", and "MOM", but there are 2 empty slots.  There's also a "Database" tab between "Story" and "Network".

They've included button config at the character select screen too, as they should, and there's a rematch function.

Honestly the main menu is meh. I get that the gear theme is importing but theres no need to make it that bland. The game itself is so colorful and the main menu is ughh boring. Way to much red and gears.

I sure hope that wasn't the final version.

Hey guys, if any of you are in JP, there will be Xrd demo stations up, and you can play :SIN: and :ELP: on these builds, note that this is the PS4 version that will be playable. Certain locations will have Daisuke Ishiwatari if he becomes available there. And if you go there, they will also distribute "Special Event Items" which BTW, isn't mention what it is. Anyways, more info HERE!

Does Ishiwatari actually play the games? Is there footage of him playing as Sol?

We all know that Daisuke plays every character, every color, and is 21 dan.

They've done everything right, now we just have to pray for the best netcode.

I'm sure that Arcsys is smart enough to know that releasing a game as lag intolerant and niche as GG without excellent online would be nigh indistinguishable from taking the money and man hours put into the game and chugging it into a dumpster (in America), so I think it's safe to assume the game will have amazing online.

But still makes Pachi test everything, which is why we got the beat down of Potemkin:(((((

somehow got the impression the aim kinda to make :POT: not much of a threat at "low/mid" lvl, but to still be scary when played in a much more complete fashion.  By nerfin' his air/mid-screen options sorta ends up needin' the corner to do damage, but when finally in the corner probably becomes the scariest has ever been

With people pretending everything is "perfect", I doubt anyone actually gets it.

No one is, there's been plenty of complaints and arguments over mechanics and other stuff (A pretty massive portion of this thread especially early on dealt with FRCs and forcebreaks being removed and the new mechanics replacing them), people have complained about their favourite characters being cut, there's been the whole simplification thing which again makes up a large part of this thread and just recently we had another talk about YRCs and OSes and stuff.

We're here to discuss, praise AND criticize this game, not fulfill your raging hate boner.

At least it isn't the ct menu>cs menu transition.

RIP you beautiful bastard :(

Having played CT on Steam, good riddance to that.

CS was pretty ugly on the menu front too, I'll grant you.

edit: Whoops, didn't mean to doublepost.

I noticed that Ogawa doesn't even use his play card anymore :?:

Didn't want to scare anymore people off with his epic Dan and winrate.

For those in Canada, Xrd is finally available for pre-order on EB Games website. Not as cheap as VGP's but not as expensive as Amazon's listing. This, coupled with their current trade-in offers makes it very tempting to upgrade to the LE in my case.
