TheRealBobMan Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I kinda wish that I-No's "Don't touch me!" line when she techs was used only for her Dead Angle. I can't stand the "Don't just stand there" being on EVERY SINGLE STBT. Her fight intro with Sol sounds like the playful voice set, which doesn't fit, and Sol doesn't sound angry enough either. Then her win quote doesn't match the subs. Otherwise, her in-match acting sounds sufficiently angry. I like how pissed off she sounds when she's tumbling after Fafnir. But then the "you're pissing me off" when she loses sounds really flat. Anyway, it's nice that ArcSys is giving 3 weeks for Elphelt. This is the Christmas season, so some people wont have the game right away at launch.

I still don't have internet at home and I have to find someplace to download it, no point doing that if it's not up yet though. Also, if anyone knows, are JP preloads unlocked at midnight (relative to the store of course)? My US preload of Ultimax was, and I'm curious if that's the case there too.

king of heart Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 For those who are underrating Potemkin let me tell you a story. Everything happened off stream. This week at Mikado we had a random 8 men team battle. I was in Karinchou's team which i wasn't pleased with at first because i played against him many times but never talked to him, he turned out to be a very nice guy and he welcomed me and said to my team mates "this guy is good" which i don't think so lol. Anyway my first match was against a 3rd Dan Sol which was really weak and I took him out easily. My next opponent was a 6th Dan Pot named SKG. It was close match but he won. The biggest surprise is that this Pot took out half of my team afterward until he was taken out by a 10th Dan Ky. After that Konsome came out and kept destroying us and he even took out Karincho's Ramlathal. We only had one player left who arrived pretty late and joined our team. It was the one and only FAB. He took out Konsome then took out Sharon then their leader Tsu and with that our team got the 3rd place since we lost to Nage's team before that. So this event's MVP was definitely Potemkin.

Regarding part 12 of your post could this mean that the toggle option switches between 60 fps/720p & 30 fps/900 or 1080? Crazy if they allowed cross play between platforms running at different framerate. :S

This is something new to me on consoles so it's interesting.

LockedAndClush Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Actually, that reminds me of some PS2 fighting games (mostly SNK releases) that had a "normal" and "smooth" rendering options, that blurred the sprites a little bit. Maybe it's some sort of effect to hide the edge aliasing? Guess we'll know in a week.
