You are supposed to be able to fight others peoples powered up characters aswell.

Narroo Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Good. Tutorial modes are nice to have in fighters but I think they should start teaching abstract concepts to newbies. I never played Skullgirls tutorial but I heard it taught things like footsies/mixups/spacing/etc. Not really, unless they've reworked it recently. It goes over blocking and punishing basic block strings, hit confirming, and "pressure." But it's very quick and rudimentary, for the most part. It's a lot better than nothing, but at the same time it still doesn't really teach you what you really need to know. You can watch it here.

Because that's what happens when you have characters like Maya who is 18 years old but looks like 8 and Elp/Raml...Do I even need? The franchise has an anime look and more than ever now. I'd like to remind everyone that the first game in the damn series had a roster with pirate loli May and reverse weeb Chipp on it, with androgynous male midriff grim reaper and "Literally Kenshin with breasts" as unlockable characters. Maybe instead of putting labels on everything to justify personal bias, you could just enjoy the damn game? Seriously it doesn't even matter if it's anime or not as long as the gameplay is good lol.

Many NeoGeo titles had this kind of elements. Also just like I said before Marvel had this kind of characters.
