Honestly never thought of using Undertow unblockable during RC slowdown. Sadly it wasnt mikado stream where kubo played. Stream ended with 36 streak (BO5) and then no one challenged him anymore.

Casper Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 that shit was ridiculous. kubo didn't let those faust players play their game at all. its becoming clear to me that if you let faust engage in the neutral game at all you are immediately at a disadvantage. he controls the screen completely in that situation and his damage off random confirms is pretty high.

As for the bs I thought bozac (nice interview btw) said it absorbs one hit during a location test but i might be wrong. But another question...If you bs in the middle of say grand viper ..will it leave them in a vulnerable state and deflect them or would u have to bs again since it's a multiple hit plus it's a physical attack versus a projectile
Horokei Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Some numbers about RC.. again. This time about slowdown. Numbers should be pretty accurate but there is still can be some mistakes. Slowdown makes everything 2 times slower. Not 3 times. Duration of slowdown for YRC is ~20 frames Duration of slowdown for RRC is ~60 frames --RRC of regular hits happens _after_ hitstop --RRC of projectiles is possible during hitstop What that's mean? If Axl (for example) RC his 5H (level 5 move) he'll get (18-1)*2=34 frames of advantage because hitstop was skipped. However if he RC his rensengeki (green chain, level 5 move) he'll get (15-x+18)*2=36-62 frames of advantage on block (not 64 cuz slowdown has 60f duration), on hit it's even more (x - number of a frame where rensen was cancelled). Only YRC and PRC have a startup (5 and 14) and freeze actually freezes both you and your opponent so it doesn't matter. I also operate with old numbers for hitstops/blockstun. Some people say it was probably Ain but as I said before the win ratios didnt add up from when I saw Ain on some videos that were uploaded the next day. The blue Ky went under GG Player and so did Ain for like the first 2 days. He's changed his name now though. Maybe it really was Ain.
