I want to point that.

Hard execution characters takes a lot of your brain muscles during the actual match.

So watering down their execution will give the player more energy to react to more mix ups and think more probably about the game plan.

I don't even. You make it sound as if humans can't multi-task perfectly well. You can't lump all players together in one category. Execution has nothing to do with your reaction as a player. If you are a good player with good reactions what char you play is not going to change that.

Everyone is different, problem is, ppl need to find the right character for them. How easy a char is to play has nothing to do with how good of a player you are.

I play I-no, and perfectly well at a high level consistently. Is she hard? Maybe, but not to me. Her execution is not an issue, but My first competitive game was MvC2 so maybe that explains it. New players will find that it's her neutral game that is really challenging, which I love - but that is just me. Playing her in Xrd is not going to have anything to do with how "hard" she is, nor for any other character.

Bottom line, easy chars are not going to magically make you a better player cause you have more "mental resources" to devote to the other aspects of the game. If you are a good player you will do that already. Just play the char that fits your play style - that is what will make a difference.

Of course this is all with a competitive mindset taken into account. If you just want to play casuals....feel free to flail with whoever you want, but don't go trying to label everyone else just cause you can't perform execution-wise. Das racist.

Is the demo gone already for you guys?

I checked just now and it's finally not letting me play it. I go in and get some message with a 12 and a 4 near the end, think it's pretty clear what it's getting at.

It looks like some sort of console event or tournament is coming in November for Xrd in Japan.

It's a PS4 event for the kansai folks to try out the console version with El and Sin. There's also a tourney where 3 finalists get to go on stage and fight pachi.

They are bringing what happened at TGS over there.

Well i was just trying to point out some positive points of watering her down.

It's not like everyone has been coached by Koichi himself like you!

It's cool, I just couldn't wrap my head around the whole "mental multi-task handicap" idea.

I watched and played against many Japanese I-No players.

It's like they have different mixup patterns inside their head and if their opponent knows all these patterns then it's hard for them to grasp the whole situation and come up with something new during the match also they mostly tend to easily lose their momentum if their mix ups were figured out.

Except for Hasegawa who lean more on observing and then acting more than the rest of the other players which makes him the best I-No player.

But Sol and Ky players on the high level can adapt way faster and have bigger chances of making come backs.

Have you played against OSCA and/or U-zen (especially the last one)? I'm not sure about OSCA, but U-zen started playing with her in Slash and while it's true that he was not that good back then, from what I've seen so far Hasegawa wouldn't have almost any chance against him now, I like way more the way U-zen plays personally, mocking Sol players in doing shoryukens and playing sometimes a bit risky with j.D and VCL YRC stuff, but to an extend that you don't feel like he's playing crazy, not at all.

Hasegawa's playstyle is much simpler in the other hand, I haven't even see him doing much of a thing in combos than just P Dive>j.HS>P Dive>Note, when in Xrd since hitboxes are quite bigger now, you could make use of j.K>j.S>j.K after P Dive for example more easily, you can do P Dive loops more easily (I think I even saw three P Dives in a row in some match, LOL), and also VCL loops are more easily. I feel that putting the input issue aside, you can probably abuse of it a little more now than in Slash (I still hate Dust cinematic though).

I have seen U-zen winning without need of being always covered with the note, again though knowing what he's doing in the game, and Hasegawa is almost always doing the same thing, which as you said in the end it only serves to read the other opponent more easily.

True!!

U-zen and Turio fall apart the easiest.

Koichi doesn't care that man will keep doing something until it works. OSCA is good at adapting tho and is slightly unpredictable. I agree that Hasegawa is the most observant and consistent I-no player win/ranking wise, but his bare bones style is so sleepy time. Def my least favorite.

Personally I feel that I play closest to U-zen's style, but I have no problem adapting to troublesome matches like he always seems to have. He is def my liege right now.

U-zen is a Kansai player and i only saw him once during the after Arc Revo party but never seen him play.

I played against OSCA before and couldn't beat him.

But when you see him play against Hasegawa you can definitely see the gap between them OSCA some times starts fooling around by yelling and crying every time he start getting beat up by Hasegawa then goes to him and it's like: "dude stop beating me up like that it's not cool"

It seems like Arc Revolution 2014 matches are starting to be uploaded on the Arc Revo youtube channel. Many of the GGXrd matches are up.

Here's the first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6lX3LswN3Y

Which 18 dan Millia is this?

If I recall the correct Venom, FAB had to do some clutch stuff to beat Fino.

Since they didn't mention anything about color editor then I am hoping for colors to unlock inside the game.

6 colors compared to 20 colors from AC is almost nothing!

I really hope no color editor. I want my own color of course, but I also dont wanna be restricted to only using my color at home

EDIT: unless of course we get both, then im game
