Well to be fair, I dunno how canon Golden could be. I mean, P4A (and likely P4U2) is supposed to be canon yet there's no mention of Marie at all from anyone from the Investigation Team. Similarly, I haven't heard that Golden addresses P4A either despite it being canon (though I could be wrong). So take from that what you will.

The events of P4A are briefly mentioned in P4G's epilogue.

If you guys do want Ken in the game, you think he'd be a spacing character like Mitsuru with that huge ass spear. His Persona should be Koromaru... :keke:

koro-chan could be a aprt of his playstyle...Ken already has kali-nemi

I can't see Ken being anything else other than a spacing character, to be honest.

If I had to guess, the reason that neither the events of P4:G or P4:A are cross referenced is simply because of the difference in genres. RPG fans may not wish to play P4:A, nor may fighting game fans want to play P4:G. So, for the sake of not forcing players to do "homework" in a genre they don't care for in order to understand the overall plot, the references are minimal. This is also why P4:A goes out of its way to explain the plot of P4 (& P3 for the SEES members) at the start each character's story, even though you'd think most people playing the story would be familiar with P4's plot.

It's a concession for players who have played one, but not the other. Admittedly, that doesn't offer evidence either way for the events of Golden being canon or not, but perhaps things will become clearer this Sunday when we get those Persona related announcements.

Slight trim of excess text.

Hearing stuff about a P4U2 announcement on some Atlus stream. Apparently Adachi was revealed, can anyone confirm?

Yes.

Also, Sho comes in two versions. One without a persona and one with one. They have different titles and the Sho with a Persona has his name written in katakana while Persona-less Sho has his name writting in kanji.

No Shadow Sho? That's rather odd to hear. I'm kicking myself for missing that trailer.

Sho appears to be a villain, he introduces himself to Narukami by calling himself the "culprit".

It would be nice to have a straight up villain in the P4U series unlike

the voice and entity in the last game

hopefully Sho turns out to be that. A more curious question that probably has no present answer, is how did Adachi get out of prison?

Adachi... playable? I guess I'm happy, but that means no other character from P3 makes his appearance!? Although Shadow Adachi will be extremely fun to play with the false Izanagi, and I hope 'A New World Fool' makes it into the game.

Wait I heard that this not on 360... NO! JUST NO! Is this a rumor or was it really announced!? TELL ME NOW!

It's only been announced for PS3.

Yay Adachi is finally in the game. However, the question of if he is playable or is he a NPC is bothering me. We don't actually see him fight.

what's sho's persona? wasnt able to see it and the one in the trailer is his perosna-less form

I'm betting playable. It would be pretty stupid to throw in a teaser for a NPC.

From the explanation of the game on stream: He shows up in Yukari's arcade mode in the cutscene before her fight with Shadow Chie, so yeah cutscene NPC there. However in the trailer, the shadowy figure of him looks like the kind of portrait artwork you see on the VS screen and in-game HUD.

That portrait is bit weird: It isn't dynamic enough to be normal artwork, the angle doesn't make it look like an VS. portrait and it would be odd if they remaded his story portrait.
