RWA Announcer Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 So you think they're both about equal as opposed to MINAZUKI being the superior one, AnnelFrank? That's good to hear since I'm interested in them both! Also, just realized you were from Tennessee. Shoutouts to Southern FGC and a fellow lover of Setplay!

Yes, Persona Sho is stronger, because he has a great neutral, basically better rounded. Personaless Sho is good because even though he has difficulties in neutral, when he's in offense it's his turn, and have great tools for leading said offense. (think CNanaya if you played melty, there are a lot of similarities)
RWA Announcer Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I've actually never touched Melty Falco, but just from watching them both, Persona Sho/MINAZUKI looked pretty superior. He reminds me a lot of SFXT Raven, or Vergil, in a lot of ways. I'll look up some videos of that character though just for the visual comparison. Glad to hear that regular Sho isn't totally outclassed though, that was something that worried me.
Anne Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I honestly can't tell you who's better, they're both just good. P.Sho has a lot of stuff but regular Sho is pretty fucking among.
Falco252 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 PSho is better rounded but if Sho touches you you're in for a looooong guarding session.

I prefer the PerShoNa because not only are his movesets with his Persona really cool, but his Persona looks pretty badass. I'm going to hate dealing with his holy teleportation when I have to face him.
AchedSphinx Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 PSho is better rounded but if Sho touches you you're in for a looooong guarding session. I've seen a lot of videos of Persona Sho and you will be blocking for a long time there as well. It was pretty funny watching Elizabeth vs Persona Sho, she couldn't do anything, just block, and die. Their (Sho and Persona Sho) neutral game is probably about the same. I mean Persona Sho has those teleports and such for cross overs, but they can be classified as gimmicks that someone with a decent reaction speed can just anti-air.

Aha Elizabeth can only block against 3/4 of the cast so it doesn't count xD ! seriously though both Shos are pretty well rounded anyway. main difference is that Psho can harass you from anywhere on the screen (god that 5D), but loses some of Pless Sho's options in pressure, making him slightly more predictable (dat command grab though). Not important anyway, they are both good + badass sooo^^

Torri- Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Anyone else disappointed by the lack of Adachi updates? Of course, I want there to be as many characters as possible, but would it kill them to confirm if he is playable? Although Rise and Ken rumor is cool.

Maybe it's better this way, best for last and all that.
D.R.F. Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I want my p3 protagonist D:< I have yuka-tan though, so no complaints:D

Maybe when they decide to stop showing Persona Q trailers and give us other Persona related news. D.R.F. 1
Volt Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I'm ok with it. Maybe it's better this way, best for last and all that. Considering the hype that ensued when Kokonoe was announced in CP, I think it's probably a good idea to save the best for last. Let's see if they'll add Adachi and P3 Protag or if they'll just add Adachi.
Akiro Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Nothing we didn't already expect but we're getting a 13 pages of Persona Q/Arena in the next Famitsu. http://www.famitsu.com/famiweb/next.html Probably detailed rundown on Rise and Ken
TPPR10 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 There definably is room for a lot of news. Like lets say the pages were split evenly between both games. That would be six for both games and one introduction page for the section.
Malcopunch Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 If Rise being in the game is true. My guess is her gimmick are going to be counters that will push the enemy back so she can zone then using a attack involving Music Notes
Tokkan Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 So apparently what I'm hearing on Twitter about possible Famitsu leaks is that Rise is indeed playable and P4U2 will release in Japan in August. Probably won't know for sure if either of those is correct until tomorrow but whatever. Edit: Apparently Dengeki Playstation already leaked and has already spilled the beans on Rise being playable. We'll see if Famitsu has any more to say than just that.
Tokkan Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Double post, but worth it. Famitsu released a preview of their scoop. http://www.famitsu.com/images/000/051/976/53550dd1529c0.html Rise confirmed, rest of article is concealed in shadow.
Starlight777 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 It's really real? Guess this means I can look forward to subbing Ken.
Master Of Chaos Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Hahahahaha wow, was not expecting that one. Now I wanna see how she'll fight.
MegaGrandTale Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Well now we have all of the Persona 4 characters playable (unless you really wanted Marie). I kind of wish all the Persona 3 characters were playable but It's not that big of a deal.
Djqubil Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I was able to make the blackness gone. I guess we don't have to wait only 2 days to get some info in. What I got out of this picture: -Rise’s VS Art -A Shot of Rise’s IK (It somewhat involves P4D) -A new arcade art for Yu -Some Story Stuff -A super, most likely for Rise -Rise’s win pose -Maybe Shadow Rise (?) Luminos564, Justice7541, Jotamide and 1 other 4
Luminos564 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Well, Rise is playable. Alright I'm game. And like many have already thought, she uses a microphone (or at least has it in her portrait). Oh ASW you and your easily-read intentions you. But wait, this means Ken is playable too (most likely). Well since he's being used, I hope you enjoy being a permanent addition to my punching bag stock you little twerp. Get acquainted with Teddie, Yosuke and Yu because you're in for a long haul. But with this, we've got all of the P4 cast assembled while we're only missing Fuuka and Makoto/P3 Protagonist on the P3 side. This should be good. EDIT: Well who did Yu have to romance to get a new arcade art for himself? Unless of course, Yu is just a sample and they're redoing it for the whole roster.
