Lokbob Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 You had a shitty laggy match and the other player wants a rematch - whyyyy? Why the hell would someone like to play a fucking unplayable match again, what a waste of time.
Speakeasy Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I have a new one. People that obviously ragequit and then, when called out on it, say that their connection actually dropped. Your connection dropped as I ended the match with GENESIS! EMERALD! TAGER! BUSTER!? Sure, sure.
NecroTheReaper Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 DD's can have way too much animation for people with bad internet, so it can be 50/50 really. GETB lasts for fawkin ever, so honestly I wouldn't be surprised if both were happening lol.
Angel-tastic Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I guess it depends on the move. Black Onslaught (for me at least) lags even offline, so if someone drops the match after getting hit by that, I'd probably give them the benefit of the doubt. I've heard that Tager's 720 throw lags the game for certain people too, so you never know. If they're getting bodied by normal combos and then quit before the match is over, that's more likely a ragequit though.
ReynTime180 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 My pet peeve, is when the person rage quits and I don't get rage mail
Speakeasy Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I taunt my ragequitters so I can get some. And I suppose maybe once in a while, a drop at the end of a match is believable, but I've literally seen two matches that I ended in GETB actually end.
Grimsley-San Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 I find very disrespectful, when people start doing these crazy combos and they taunt you like they did something.
mAceOfHearts Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 This has only happened once, but someone did absolutely at the start of the round or when they were selecting their character, leading me to believe they had gone AFK. After jumping back and waiting a bit to confirm that they were, in fact, AFK, I proceeded to walk up to them and 6A, (Using Azrael) after which I would go to the corner of the screen and wait for them to return. ... But then I got 5D'd (Nu) into a full combo. What an annoying way to waste my time and piss me off.
Ventus Tatshima Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 When people skip the winning animation for me but don't skip there's. Also people who get pissed by me purple grabbing 3 times with platinum after a combo and finishing with an OD infused CDT not my fault you can't fucking tech. lol Lastly plat isn't annoying
NecroTheReaper Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Honestly, pink grab spamming plats bother me because even on Vita's Extend... every frikkin Plat player used pink grabs. Its like because plat is a loli and pink is cute, she lives off pink grabs. Its between her and Noel who I think abuse pink grabs the most, though luckily I havnt had to tech mid combo since CP started. This makes it easy to react to Plat's mid combo grabs though, no guessing involved.
JacopeX Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 -When the match heavily lags against someone i'd like to have a non laggy match with -When someone rage quits after winning one round, thinking they proved their point or whatever... -When someone auto places themselves on my arcade spot in lobby after I lose (no rematch T_T) -Whenever no one is online...yeah I went there. lol
Heartlesswheart Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Stylish users. Unless it's offline to learn some new things for your character(s), using Stylish against other players is terrible and everyone who uses it like that should feel terrible.
Airk Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Stylish users. They should...feel terrible for...playing at a handicap? Sounds like you're just bitter.
Dazardz Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Throws. Throws at certain times, dumb times. I just despise throws overall, for different reasons. I play a Plat that purple grabs EVERY MATCH in the SAME COMBO, and I can see it coming all the time. But when I press those two buttons to try and reject the purple grab, noooo, the game says no no no you didn't reject the grab, get purple grabbed! Seriously why aren't my rejects working? Is it TV lag? Other cases, is landing a throw at the weirdest of times. For example, today, I got Terumi in a corner, with Kagura. I used B orb Oki, then jumped in to try and confuse the opponent into blocking high when I was about to use 5B (a low attack). As soon as I touched the ground, which was like 1 frame after the orb went away, I got thrown. Whaaaat? Things like this happen to me at even dumber times too. I don't have a problem with people throwing normally though, during blockstrings and stuff...

Try astraling a girl who uses a stylish unlimted Ragna with your own shitty technical Ragna and have her curse you out as loud as can be over the mic & say she's gonna write your name in a death note

You realize by writing that post everyone who reads it knows that you've got your ass handed to you by a Stylish-mode masher player?
Dazardz Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 You realize by writing that post everyone who reads it knows that you've got your ass handed to you by a Stylish-mode masher player? Lol, if I'm going to be honest in this thread, this almost happened to me against a Ragna. But in my defense it was laggy!!! Had to mash the hell out of DP with Kagura. Pet-peeve of mine would be, somebody quitting the match (not by disconnecting their router, by going to the menu in player match) because I landed an Astral.
NecroTheReaper Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Stylish mode encourages highly defensive play, random AA's into perfect confirms. Also the fact its in perma-barrier mode. Just don't rush down a stylish player, its not like they're capable of mixup on offense. Still having issues with CA's and getting random 5A/B mash. Luckily I'll finally be getting my Christmas hitbox 2 months after christmas @.@

Ventus Tatshima Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Stylish tagers are easy astral targets for me
Dawn of Musou Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 When people have a burst and they don't use it when they need to. You're basically telling me you don't give a shit about the match lol.
mAceOfHearts Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Lol, if I'm going to be honest in this thread, this almost happened to me against a Ragna. But in my defense it was laggy!!! Had to mash the hell out of DP with Kagura. How on earth did you manage to ´´mash`` a charge move? That's impressive in it's own right.

You're basically telling me you don't give a shit about the match lol. I just took that they waiting to use it at a certain time or people could be caught up in the fight and forget they have one
Speakeasy Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) Until very recently, I had a really bad habit of using my bursts incredibly early on in the round. I blame Arena, where one or two screwups can spell death for me, but it's a habit that Blazblue will punish you for. To get out of it, I just stopped using my bursts for a while (or at least until the very last possible moment) to teach myself to not rely on them. I doubt that a lot of non-bursters have my reason for not using them, but there you go. EDIT: And on Stylish users, I can beat out of most of them pretty well, but I have serious problems with Stylish Hakumen as Platinum. It's mostly because I'm not good enough with her yet to get past it, but Haku's pokes give me trouble. Edited February 23, 2014 by Speakeasy
ReynTime180 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 They should...feel terrible for...playing at a handicap? Sounds like you're just bitter. Yes it's a handicap, but to me, and I'm sure others, playing on stylish means that you're not willing to learn the actual game and for want to invest time to be good, they want to be at fighting level RIGHT NOW, an don't want to be bothered with learning to play
