I kinda like Azrael, I always wanted a character that could body me effortlessly and make it actually look painful as well. The way he makes people ragdoll across the stage is pretty cool too.

People that are connection nazis. I can understand you not wanting to play a lag fest, no one does. But on the same coin, realize that you're playing online, lag will be inevitable. I just hate roaming around searching for people because no one wants to fight a 2V.

Every time I beat Azrael with a foul-mouthed little girl I feel great inside.

Another one of my gripes is Terumi players.

I literally run up DP every Terumi player on their wake up when I play Ragna.

They fucking get CH'd almost every time.

When will you learn not to press buttons? I'm literally DP'ing you on your every wake up. Block and punish me.

This is how I play Ragna.

Like a wannabe Kogatan.

People who care about their square and only play two matches with me.

Ragna players who do that have made me scared to press buttons at all as Terumi. I don't press buttons on his wake up or my wake up because he's made me fearful, unstable and paranoid. Ragna having superior normals only make this so much worse. I feel like that one scene in "The Shining" with Ragna being the guy with the axe.

I don't really get this; None of Azrael's stuff looks visually impressive to me (oooh, a slow motion punch! So thrilling!), and his "I kick j00! A whole lot!" is the dumbest looking combo in the game.

Honestly I feel the same way about every character. All of em have some flash, but none of the moves actually sound or look painful to me. However, I will say terumi's flexibility is impressive. Pause his 5C and look at how his leg is bent.

Attacks of raw physical power are usually awesome to see in anime and Azrael does not disappoint. It may sound simple/stupid but I like em cause they look and sound cool, that's about it.

Sometimes at the end of a Hakumen aerial, instead of the usual J2C > Agito or JC, I'll pink grab instead to see if they're still awake. Dirtbag tactics goooo

anyone remember carl's first infinite ever? the one that involved legit purple grabs and could be started from almost any hit? if it was blocked, nirvana 8d made you stop blocking anyway. that was a real complaint. purple grabs otherwise are wake-up slaps.

My pet peeve for today: Gustaf Buster.

I like fighting Azrael, unlike most people. Fighting him gets me fired up, hell his characeter gets into the fight, and puts pressure on me in a way that doesn't feel too cheap, but is more powerful than it appears. But I always lose to Gustaf Buster (And 6C). Dont know why, I just feel retarted every time I eat a clean hit from those things.

 

Honorable mention goes to Hakumen Driveing through my crossups, just doesnt look right, man.

If it doesn't feel cheap, your opponent is doing it wrong. :P
