mAceOfHearts Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 There is a 5 frame gap. 6C has 20 frames of blockstun and 6B has 25 frames of start-up. Just 5 frames? That explains a lot, thanks. I guess I'll backdash through it , I don't have much faith in my IB skills.
NecroTheReaper Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Well if your sig is your mains, 2 could just lawl dp and the other has a 5f 5A (probably an unfavorable trade without IB though). Frame data says nothin about Terumi's H-invul on his 6A, but if its 5f onward it should beat it if you react fast enough.
Owner Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Terumis 6A has no head invul frames, only the decent hitbox (appart from whiffing on most crouchers) and fast startup makes it a somewhat decent anti-air (however 5A is almost better) Against Jins 6C > 6B you can just 236236A with Terumi, Growler or Backdash with Azrael and Flashkick with Kagura
Surf Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 In the end, it's the players skill that determines the outcome. Bad executions, "not my day" excuses, character level, etc. If your experienced enough, you'll be able to adapt to the situation as best as possible. If not, you lose. In a fighting game, it's the winner that's just and right. The loser can bark all they want, no matter how bad the situation was or is. Plus, you aren't going to learn anything if you don't look back. What are you going to do, hope the opponent screws up till you win? Strong>Weak, simple. The hell. There are some situations where no matter how good a player can be there is no clear cut answer because the situation makes 0 sense. Like an Arakune mashing 5AAAAA and CHing you when his minus or your at plus. But I think that's mostly netplay. Anyway I'm sure you know all about that. I'm not surprised thats how you view things given how you happen to play
StylisH Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 How someone takes a loss is their problem. Why we have to have a debate about it is puzzling.
Argent Zero Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Felt my last post was insulting and off topic. Excuse my rudeness and inconsideration of the community as a whole. Regardless of skills/level, there are indeed situation that may be debatable. Truly sorry With that said, Lobby crashing. Makes me feel sad. Very
susano Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 You know something's very wrong when there's barely anyone in arcade lobbies anymore. .__.
Argent Zero Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 You know something's very wrong when there's barely anyone in arcade lobbies anymore. .__. I'm still unsure of why, but does it really have something to do with the servers? Or is it PSN? It's frustrating when you're in the middle of a match
Errol Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 part of it is probably the special event lobby. what does the english version say when you go lobby now? Why do people go there.
TeeJay Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 part of it is probably the special event lobby. what does the english version say when you go lobby now? Why do people go there. you get a special customization item or something. I usually grab it then go to a NA lobby where no one is.
heavymetalmixer Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 It's really jokes when this happens. Someone has to do it, it's the law of the masses: If someone makes the first step, maybe others will follow.
Ventus Tatshima Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Sash's a revolutionary now. lol One pet peeve of mine is being in a rioom full of mics when people call you stupid for making a simple even though you tried extremely hard to not make any mistakes at all.
susano Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 part of it is probably the special event lobby. what does the english version say when you go lobby now? Why do people go there. Yeah, but you'd think the other lobby would have as many people.

Bodying an entire lobbby of mics is sexy. The sodium levels go through the roof.
White Man Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I've only ever had one bad experience with mics. Some guy called me retarded for dropping a couple combos, so I expressed my condolences that his mother had reduced herself to having sex with retarded guys. Then I left the room, blocked him, and found a different room full of people who were cool. Playful ribbing is one thing, but if people start getting nasty or lobbing insults, don't play with them. You seriously do a disservice to the community when you tolerate people behaving like that.

StylisH Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 What you have to remember is the 3 ways to play this game: the right way, the wrong way, and the online way.
heavymetalmixer Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 What you have to remember is the 3 ways to play this game: the right way, the wrong way, and the online way. Maybe that why I lose so much: I try to play the Right Way online : /
D.R.F. Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Maybe that why I lose so much: I try to play the Right Way online : / ^same
TeeJay Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Maybe that why I lose so much: I try to play the Right Way online : / ^same Lol SKD on the online tourney or whatever was like, screw this, netplay engaged.
Ventus Tatshima Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 The Right way only applies offline unfortunately
Argent Zero Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 What's the wrong way to play then? Pet peeve: elimination of the BGM sampler/character voice sampler
