The ability to mix and match assist confirmed, so that will be interesting, and multiple Potential traits, cool. Seems connecting with an offensive/raw burst Blast nets you some sort of power up, hmm. Throw tech are called "Dodge", dunno why, but this amuses me. Shizuo has auto-guard on his door ram and it seems he can combo into his command throw(? he did so on counter hit at least) and he has a DIVE KICK! :D That Lightning girl can wall cling....FROM ANYWHERE!?!?!? Saw her do some action 3x in a row where she summoned a chunk of debris behind her and floated in the air, she did cling > dash > cling > dash (crossover) > cling. BIG difference in cool down if your assist gets hit out of their action. (seems Assist cancels have shorter cool down?) Edited October 11, 2013 by SolxBaiken

Money on Hataraku Maou-sama as next introduced characters. I hope for Strike Witches but they're mainly aerial combat so I can't see that one working too well. I would've preferred a Kuroko assist that gives temporarily teleportation anywhere on the screen with the direction of the joystick, at least two character spaces with start up invincibility. Fingers crosses for Kaname Chidori with either Tessla or Sousuke assist. Tessla tripping on her feet for low hitbox or Sousuke with a 5 bullet assist for continued pressure or combo ender. Too much to look out for. edit: Dengeki? Is that some kind of food? lol, jokes aside, I just read so I don't know jack about providers but only wishful thinking here.

This fighter is "Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax", it would only take characters from light novels (no manga) published by ASCII Media Works under the "Dengeki Bunko" label. Full Metal Panic belongs to the "Fantasia Bunko" label published by Fujimi Shobo. Strike Witches belongs to the "Sneaker Bunko" label published by Kadokawa Shoten. Neither of them are going to be in this game, even if Fujimi Shobo and ASCII Media Works do happen to both be owned by Kadokawa Shoten.

Rhapsody Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Might as well bring this up in case it wasn't earlier, but from the Dengeki Bunko Festival event, apparently the producer is Ryutaro Nonaka and the director is Takaharu Terada. Same guys with the same roles in Valkyria Chronicles. Cool! Though, it's going to be kind of funny/sad if another licensed work outshines their original creation that they spent so much time on... Also a bit sad that UNIB didn't get to expand their roster much because of being busy with this. Makes sense why they only got Chaos finished and were happy getting help for Akatsuki so far.
