Zedar90 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 For what I recall, the tournament was held to lure out both Azrael and Tsubaki. BTW, those who have the game and have Kagura, what is his arcade ending like? He talk with Noel(Mu-12) and asks her to join him in his rebellion, and that the Ikaruga Civil war wasn't a "war" but an experiment that Imperator(Izanami?) ordered to be performed.
kibakirain Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I'm not sure if i'm allowed to say this but someone uploaded the anime cutscenes on Youtube. I's looking better than the anime series BTW.
Chaoschao222 Posted October 28, 2013 Author Posted October 28, 2013 It shouldn't need to be said. And it won't be said again
ZenTzen Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 so what happened to Ragna at the end and epilogue, i'm kinda confused
Zedar90 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 so what happened to Ragna at the end and epilogue, i'm kinda confused He's missing and Kokonoe says he might be dead but Kagura answer that is no way he is dead and is a little agitated and wonder what that "idiot" is doing.
Lucid_Nightmare Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I'm really curious about Kagura and Bang's relationship, given that they are both disciples of Lord Tenjo...Although they have been on opposite sides...What kinds of interactions do they have?

Bang was pissed at Kagura for being a traitor until he learned Kagura had been hiding Homura, after that Bang headed to the Lynchpin and waited for the one who would come there (which became Ragna), so not that much interaction.

Ah ok then-Thanks!
Starlight777 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Has the rivalry/hatred between Relius and Valkenhayn been explained? It's something that's been shown and hinted at since Continuum Shift but never truly elaborated upon.
VermilionBird Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Expanding on that. Whats happened to Relius? I mean, he's pretty much lost everything ;-;
Luminos564 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 So question about the "Evil" within Ragna: was his Beast state when the Imperator/Izanami commanded him related to it or was that a separate incident?
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 It was when the Izanami commanded it after Nu stabbed him in the back. As for Relius, he's basically being used by Carl since he's lost his resources; Valkenhayn just kinda showed up to fight Relius near the end of the game.
Zedar90 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 So question about the "Evil" within Ragna: was his Beast state when the Imperator/Izanami commanded him related to it or was that a separate incident? Not really explained what the "Evil"(悪) is, but I felt that Rachel was a bit to vague for it to simply be the Black Beast, but it could be the black beast since the Grimoire is spreading with Ragna as seen with his red eye.
raziel12 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 just like rachel knows more then she is letting on well i know this game will have a remake their still some loop holes they might wana cover before a sequel like they did BBCS
TPPR10 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 So is Enchant Dragunov seprate from the restraint Sector 7 put on Azrael (The thing where he cannot attack those who lack fighting will aside of Tager and Kokonoe), or are those two the same thing? If the latter is true, then I think the story went against Azrael's official bio, where it was stated that Azrael has Enchant Dragunov on his own decidion.

Different things, remember, Azrael wants to fight but is to strong thus put Enchant Dragunov on himself. He is in a dilemma, he want fight so he uses Enchant Dragunov but at the same time he want to go all out. So he got seriously pissed at Ragna when he did not use the Grimoire during the tournament fight.
TPPR10 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Okay, thanks. I was bit confused the fact that Azrael has two things limiting him at the same time.
Dovahkyon Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 does someone know where i can see the story mode pics?
Luminos564 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Not really explained what the "Evil"(悪) is, but I felt that Rachel was a bit to vague for it to simply be the Black Beast, but it could be the black beast since the Grimoire is spreading with Ragna as seen with his red eye. Rachel being vague about stuff she should by all accounts try to explain but doesn't. In other news, jumping out of a plane without a parachute is a bad idea. And you said the Grimoire is spreading along Ragna's body? That's interesting though to my knowledge there's never been any sort of official art that depicts how far along the "corruption" is. Does the story address that as well? Different things, remember, Azrael wants to fight but is to strong thus put Enchant Dragunov on himself. He is in a dilemma, he want fight so he uses Enchant Dragunov but at the same time he want to go all out. So he got seriously pissed at Ragna when he did not use the Grimoire during the tournament fight. Why Ragna, I didn't realize you could be a massive troll when the need calls for it . Actually that's a pretty smart move on Ragna's part. Granted Kagura had to take over for him but hey, at least we know he is maturing.
MikelAL93 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 does someone know where i can see the story mode pics? They should be in the first page of the gallery on the collection menu (In the main menu, it appears as the option in the bottom below replay theater).
Dovahkyon Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 They should be in the first page of the gallery on the collection menu (In the main menu, it appears as the option in the bottom below replay theater).are you joking? i meant on the web.i don't have the game.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I personally wanted to see U. Ragna vs. U. Azrael after the latter's arcade ending because of the sheer GAR produced; but Ragna showing maturity and not relying on the grimoire too is good too I guess, if anticlimactic. The original trio of new characters haven't done much huh, really hope later expansions fix that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Zedar90 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) Rachel being vague about stuff she should by all accounts try to explain but doesn't. That's interesting though to my knowledge there's never been any sort of official art that depicts how far along the "corruption" is. Does the story address that as well? It's said quite early in the story by Rachel that it is spreading, but I don't think it is visible. But that isn't the only bad thing with Blazblue, when in use the wounds its user gets is also transferred to the soul, so even if you use Phenomenon Intervention to try to make a event to not have happened you're wounds will remain. Its shown in the story as Ragna gets wounds all of the sudden from Nu from a battle that never happened. And is also likely the reason why Ragna gets flashbacks to Azrael's arcade ending in the tournament fight. Edited October 28, 2013 by Zedar90
Luminos564 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) are you joking? i meant on the web.i don't have the game. They're not going to post story content man. The ASW Gestapo units will have their virtual heads and toss the remainder to the Copyright Hounds. And is also likely the reason why Ragna gets flashbacks to Azrael's arcade ending in the tournament fight. So, on a scale of 1 to 10, just how fucked is Ragna? I mean there's raising dramatic tension and then there's...well, this. Let's do a list: -Jin is told he needs to kill him and Jin is ever so happy to oblige. -Ragna has an "Evil" that's currently trying to escape by eating him alive. -Imperator/Izanami can make him go nuts by command. -Should Jin fail and he dies without Jin landing the finishing blow, Tsubaki needs to use Immortal Killer on Rachel to prevent the aforementioned "Evil". -His Blazblue is literally ripping apart his very soul that cannot be healed even when you turn back time/events. Sheesh, it's like I am reading a BB rendition of Berserk and Ragna just got the coveted role of Guts. Edited October 28, 2013 by Luminos564
harmless kitten Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) And you said the Grimoire is spreading along Ragna's body? That's interesting though to my knowledge there's never been any sort of official art that depicts how far along the "corruption" is. Does the story address that as well? There's two different pieces of art, both by Mori, that indicate that it's pretty far along. One is a phonecard, the other is the Sound Accord 2 cover. It's consumed all of his right arm (even the part that wasn't chopped off), and is creeping up to his collarbone. Not sure if it really counts. The anime also shows Ragna having a glove that goes all the way up to his shoulder instead of just halfway up his upper arm, but the anime is...yeah. Edited October 28, 2013 by harmless kitten
