Narroo Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I have been wanting an "Anti Terumi" whose life goal is to screw with Terumia and the rest of the villains in Blazblue the same way Terumi screws with the heroes. But it'll probably never happen.

But it'll probably never happen. I main Terumi but don't really remember much of the story. What were the villainous things he did again? Other than killing Platinum or whatever
Calamitus Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Also the Imperator said that people created her, in story mode, when she was announcing to the world her resignation. She said she was giving her power to those that created Hades: Izanami. Is there anything we know about that? I thought she was talking about Izanagi, not about herself. But creation of Izanagi can imply that Izanami can be an artificial being as well.
heavymetalmixer Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I main Terumi but don't really remember much of the story. What were the villainous things he did again? Other than killing Platinum or whatever Besides what Relius and Izanami did, Hazama wasn't the real bad guy that trolled everyone in the Blazblue cast (mostly Ragna), it was Terumi. So basically, he's the biggest son of a $%tch of the story and needed to die.

But, given how much has been retconned and twisted over the years, who knows for sure. In principle, "Time Killer" should have ended Terumi. If it actually accomplished that, it was anti-climatic. If it didn't, it was a completely pointless wash for the sake of introducing an Order-Sol character.

But, given how much has been retconned and twisted over the years, who knows for sure. Hazama turns out to be the identity of Terumi's current vessel, who is also his clone. Also, while Hazama does have his own personality, it's so similar to Terumi's that it fools everybody. In principle, "Time Killer" should have ended Terumi. But time will tell if we get an "Order-Terumi"

Terumi is playable. You know, having two distinct characters with such similar appearances, personalities, and plot-details that people can't tell them apart sounds like a bad idea.

I was actually joking with the Order-Terumi part, but when you give it some thought, some parallels begin to surface...

You know, having two distinct characters with such similar appearances, personalities, and plot-details that people can't tell them apart sounds like a bad idea. But in gameplay they're completely different, and well, Terumi doesn't give a fuck about hidding his personality, Hazama does.
Narroo Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 But in gameplay they're completely different, and well, Terumi doesn't give a fuck about hidding his personality, Hazama does. Well, Hazama only hides it when he needs to, such as when he's setting up plans. If he went around screaming "I'm Evil!" he wouldn't have gotten very far in Calamity Trigger or Continuum Shift. As for Terumi, he was flat out summoned by the remaining Heroes to be killed. I don't think he would have had any benefit to being low-key at that point. So it's a moot point. For all we know Terumi would have been exactly the same as Hazama in the first two games, all things being equal aside from the bodies.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Fighting Games have clone characters, stop the presses.
Tokkan Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 http://www.famitsu.com/news/201412/25068695.html So, about the new stories. Apparently with them the game's story length goes up to approximately 40 hours, 10 more than the original Chronophantasma was reported to be. The way they've been described reminds me greatly of the EX stories from the handheld version CS2 and also CS Extend. Those were half an hour in length each, were set in the past and had no fighting. They are individual character stories, but there is no confirmation as to whether the Bullet, Kokonoe and Kagura stories are the only one being added or not. If they are like the EX stories from Continuum Shit II/Extend, then if we go by their length (30 minutes) and divide by the amount if hours being added, we'd get approximately 20 new stories. Probably reduce that to 18 if we count the anthology from the Vita version of CP, since it is being included in CP Extend. This is by no means confirmation of there being that many new stories, please do not take it as such. It's just something to ponder on. Probably worth noting, one of the preorder bonuses features Noel wearing the summer uniform of the Military Academy, which first appeared in Remix Heart.
LeDom Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 I don't recall pre-CP story routes to be much longer than a hour, so with that promised 10 extra hours I'd say there's a considerable chance of Azrael and Amane getting their story. Of course, it's just speculation. Probably worth noting, one of the preorder bonuses features Noel wearing the summer uniform of the Military Academy, which first appeared in Remix Heart. So Noel and only Noel gets another alternate costume...somehow I'm not surprised. Why not Makoto?

Zedar90 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 From Blue Radio, it looks like there might be more story added other than the ones announced. The text at the bottom left hint at that.
DeathTurn Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 "Will there also be other new stories other than what is presented here?" Might as well make an official announcment if you are going to be that "ambiguous."
kylehyde Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I hope so because I don't particularly care for Kagura, Bullet, or Azreal
BlackYakuzu94 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I hope so because I don't particularly care for Kagura, Bullet, or Azreal You mean Kokonoe, because Azrael doesn't have a story as of yet :V
Zedar90 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Mai and Cajun will appear in the story mode of BBCP extend. Mai is voiced by Hayami Saori and Cajun is voiced by Fujita Saki. source
VermilionBird Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Hopefully we can expect more info to come alongside pictures. I'm pretty stoked, this is exactly what I wanted to hear!
heavymetalmixer Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 http://imgur.com/0c9d5IP from BBCT Wait, what?! So the Blood Scythe is really connected to the murakumos, but who created it?
churchblue Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Finish we get to see what happened to Mai and Cajun after the manga and during present day.
Master Of Chaos Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Sorry if this is the wrong thread for it, but can someone translate what Celica is saying in her victory and arcade win quotes against Hazama? She says "Kazuma-san" at one point and now I'm curious to see what she's saying. Vid is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cgTXuNcBJU&list=PLDPwn3tsC-6kuLXwHePp9uE4pV4TuhSon#t=448

Victory quote: Huh? This person, doesn't he look similar to Kazuma? What do you think Minerva? Hmm, so you don't know.
