litchi was not terrible in cse dude...

she was lacking in a few things that she had before. that is all. she wasnt underwhelming or anything, and could still win matches. the only bad points about her were that her gameplan she had before had been nerfed. less corner carry, less daisharin. midscreen isnt the best for litchi but she has a very good neutral to fall back on. so she can set up oki and if it failed she would simply return to neutral. once you were in the corner like every version of litchi you might as well get comfortable. kokushi super returned and was absolutely nuts in cse, very few characters can escape the setups reliably and if they did, a new combo route was only practice away.

a nigh inescapable super with 202 plus frames that on successful hit gave her 50 heat to do it again AND 4k plus is not a bad character.

for all intensive purposes litchi has never been truly bad. I believe her worst version was ct and she was still ok there.

^^CT Litchi was fun. I think I was the only one who used the Itsuu C IAD J.c delayed haku or whatever combo route. I miss 3c cancel into Itsuu.

If only he had a throw counter. Successful hit equates to a judo flip and then some stabs or punches to the gut.

There's an idea to make 6D useful again.

I stopped playing Haku for that very reason. Haku is a walking excuse to use meaty overheads in CP

I dont miss ct litchi. she was annoying as hell to play.

I think it's a style thing, because I am not too crazy about CP Litchi I guess, but I concede to the better players. I played Litchi pretty defensively. 6D and 4D additions were big though. I think we played a few times in those days; I was so much more terrible then.

I think the the sentiment from most Haku players right now is "at least delete the move if you won't fix it." It's bad enough the move is shite, but it's even worse that it's so easy to accidentally input.

if people are using meaty overheads on you and getting away with it, you're messing up.

I'm not exactly a Haku expert, so you're more than likely correct

If Haku has less than 4 stars, he has no choice but to let them get away with it. 5D doesn't catch meaty overheads anymore.

you don't need to have something frame 1 invuln to punish meaty overheads. meaty overheads are a call out on how you are going to tech. if you predictably tech you can eat them. solution is to not predictably tech.

But that implies a meaty overhead requires prediction. That's not always the case.

Still a meaty overhead, you can get out of most of em without too much hassle. And Haku's only gotta deal with it till they get Yuki.

You know, some characters can't deal with meaty anything until they get 50% gauge. and then they have to deal with their no hitbox no damage Distortion DP.

It does imply it, and it is true, against almost every character.
