Nemesis Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 close enough I suppose... I havent played pokemon since middle school... when there was only 150...
Eshi Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Yeah, and also Akihiko-Hirasawa aka The Valkendaddy. Both very skilled Valks.cool imma find these valk players and BODY THEM
someonewhodied Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I can do so many good combos, but I'm still free in matches. Wryyyyy
Dreize Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 cool imma find these valk players and BODY THEM If you use Amane like your avatar suggests then I have no doubt. They wont be able to combo you, hah.
toanenadiz Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 I can do so many good combos, but I'm still free in matches. Wryyyyy Because you haven't spent enough time on your neutral/defense and focused on combos and such. I'm assuming your offense would be fine since you practice set-ups when you practice combos.
BoltofShadow Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Because you haven't spent enough time on your neutral/defense and focused on combos and such. This is my problem. You can do combos and all that, but they don't mean shit if you can't get to them in the first place. Or it's me who just can't block for their lives. :3
floatwater Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Work on your defense if you don't feel confident in it. Go into training mode or watch some videos on your character (which there are a BUNCH of) and study gatlings of opponents pressure/mix-up. Familiarity helps.
BoltofShadow Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 It's a select few characters that I just can't block against and it's becasue I never fight them, and when I do, it's someone really freaking good using them. Granted that's probably best but still, it is at the very least frustrating at times.

Dreiko Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Are there any valkenhyn players left in this game? I still haven't played a single one that actually mains him. He's my primary sub, I just haven't relearned him yet since I'm focusing on relearning my main fully first. Also, I tried using him and the way his D works now throws me off entirely so its gonna take some work before I actually bring him out in online match situations.
mAc Chaos Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Because you haven't spent enough time on your neutral/defense and focused on combos and such. I'm assuming your offense would be fine since you practice set-ups when you practice combos. I'm the opposite. All neutral, 0 combos Online training mode was great.
mAc Chaos Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Is it just me or does Mu's DP seem faster in this game.
BoltofShadow Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Getting a little tired which = saltiness soooo GGs to all I faced.

916zking Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 GGs to anybody I happened to play today. Specifically ggs to Solex, I need to learn how to deal with Kagura better :P
abadlime Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 ggs ctrl. Sorry to cut it extremely short, but relatives came over during the second match.
NoSales Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 GGs people and other people. Think it might be time to pick up stick again...
Errol Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 I mean that I drop all the possible combos on netplay. GGs game well this is simple. doing stuff in a controlled environment is different from doing it in a fight to the death match. Happens to the best of us.
Koopa_Klawz Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 ggs to Rayjizzle, Not_StaSiS, Omni (for 1 game), and anyone else I played.

Happens to the best of us. I do them perfect at my (tiny) offline scene though. Its just netplay and that maybe 1 to 2 frames per second difference of lag.
