Man you Noel haters are so precious. surely you use 2d to get out every now and then when you now you're playing someone using 2a to avoid getting 4d'd. not that it can't be handled, but most people probably haven't researched a good answer for whiffing 2a against 2d.

I thought that high risk/high reward game is what makes Noel, Noel. That and her *ahem* underdevelopment.
Myoro Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 For Relish, we can just use 3C on their wake-up to get payed 3400 damage and a full Ignis guage if they 4D. If they get cute with 2D we have a 4D of our own. ; ) God I love this character.

If Noel uses 2D and successfully makes a 2A whiff, then in most cases, the opponent can react with a punish, be it with an AA, or in some cases just a 5B if it's big and quick enough, like Ragna, boy I remember that 4k well. 2D is definitely a threat in other areas, but a reversal it is most certainly not.
TD Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 ggs to everyone today. thx toan for the ft10, clearly more than that. l was trying to guardpoint your swords with amane but 236d seems very specific to what it beats out and what it loses to. 236d needs a follow up or special cancel, it doesn't see as reliable for beating zoning like nu's. still, awesome marches.

I didn't even know it did that until you tried it. I still haven't fought against most of the characters in CP yet. I need to test that out now and figure out the best way to handle it.

toanenadiz Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 you play nu 2D and 4D can both escape 236D oki. And both are easily dealt with. My Mu and Tager also don't care about 2D. I guess I got lucky and choose all the characters that don't care about Noel.

GGs, since when did you even use Azrael? It was a funny surprise. I kinda felt like doing mirrors but I felt like using Koko at the same time. I swear to myself I'm gonna drop Koko but then I just use her in the stupidest ways and hilarity ensues. The Jin mirrors were intense, it's been a while. But I think I might have to get a new controller or fix this one, something happened to my left d-pad arrow, I gotta press it hard for it to work now. I don't remember but I probably wasn't blocking much when I was in the left corner lol.

We should play again soon, last time our matches were really close.
