Ah. Kagura may not (MAY NOT) be such a big deal for Nu after all then. Though, that entire first Paragraph does worry me a bit. :I

Take what I said with a grain of salt. I don't have any match-up experience with Kagura. It's mostly just observations.

so hazama's chains both outrange and outspeed our drives now. So.....now what?

The match up is the same. Treat it as Extend imo.

I found what you were talking about. Have a look at your old posts and decide if anything is salvageable from there if you want.

Huh, I'm actually surprised as to how much of the information is still usable. I'll have the Overviews posted in their respective Threads (After making a few alterations and updates) in a little while.

I don't feel like Kagura's a bad match up(so far), we just have to respect his tools and bait the 6D~C.

Personally, I don't think any of the new characters (save for Kokonoe) are a bad match up for Nu. Her old bad match-ups are probably still the same.

Dia 623C has Head invul from frame 4 through 19

Also it's has fatal, as I see

Can we get at least some little combo from it? Seems like it send opponent too far away...

Anyone know the combo to Nu's Backwards CT combo? The one where you combo them into the air and when you do CT, it sends the opponent flying behind you?

Posted (edited)

That's dependant on the spacing of the 2DD > CT. You want the 2DD to make them fall right on top of you while you CT I believe. I usually see it from 4B > dash/move forward 2DD > CT. Or did you want the follow up after?

22A.

I really don't like this. I'm debating switching to Noel, Mu or Platinum for CP and having Nu as a sub.

Man so much 22a Tao is easier =|

CSE platinum didn't even need so many 22 inputs. Im glad im tri-maining Nu, Mu, Tao now. Playing just nu would destroy my thumbs.

Why is it so hard on the thumps though? I mean, I've (If memory serves) never heard this complaint about Aigis in P4A. Is it due to the frequency to which you have to do the input in her combos, or something else entirely?

the amount of inputs around 22A

try this:

[Dia]662B>3C>22A>3C>214A>22A>236D>22A>6A>6C>236D>236C>22A>3C>214A[Dia]

its an easy combo, but the 214A>22A>236D>22A>6A part really gets tiring after a while.

Aigis only mode changes once in a combo. She never needs to go back and forth. And her staying in orgia after knockdown is basically like Arakune with full curse.

The basic combo I've been doing is [Dia] corner 2B > 2C > 5C > 236D > 22A > 6A > 6C > 236D > 236C > 5C > 2C > 632C. [Dia] midscreen 2B > 2C > 5C > 3C > 22A > 6A > 9 > j.C > j.2C > 2DD > 214D > dashing 5C > 2C > 632C.

Basically, I've been going for easier combos that let me get 632C ender for oki and shenanigans.

It's not even just the 22A crap for me, I just don't like her entire mode swap play style. Like in CSE I would get a 3C ender into 236D then I could play oki games with crescent cancels/4B/etc, but in this if I want to do crescent cancels I have to mode swap.. which makes it super obvious because the rest of her tools are pretty similar in Dia form. Then defensively you don't have 4B anymore (Yeah yeah, it wasn't the best option - but it was low invincible and the first hit was 9F which was fine for a lot of stuff) no DP distortion in Dia form, just ugh.

I'll give it another week or two and see if it grows on me, but Nu might be going to sub status for me :/
