For whatever it's worth, most accusations of dropping are exaggerated. When you suffer a desync, if you're not paying attention, it'll simply look like you're giving your opponent a huge beating, or if it happens near the end, it totally looks like they screwed up and then left at the end. Plus with some of the more recent patches, they've been messing with the netcode likely, which can result in more desyncs. So yeah. I personally ignore any dropper comments, I'd rather play the person to find out. Kumiho seems like a decent enough fellow, try playing him sometime and form your own opinion.

Kumiho is legit from my experience. Hes good enough to deserve the high ranking. He even played 30ish matches with me in a row so I could learn. Though he got bored outta his mind from the beatdown.

I am the one who said he is a dropper, and he is. Or more specifically, was. He didn't drop from his most recent match I saw played, but my room mate was beating him a few times, and if he ever had 2 wins(even if it was 2-2), he would drop at the beginning of the next round. A bit too consistent to be random desyncs. I didn't just say he was a dropper due to the win streak, but because I saw him drop multiple times at points that were too convenient to be desyncs.

A day or two ago though my room mate beat him after a 22 win "streak" and he didn't drop...so maybe he stopped. I get the feeling he just wanted S rank before he stopped dropping.

So I gave this a spin... But too many annoyances. 1. I am forced to pad it up, my stick won't work with my converter, and playing on pad SUCKS. 2. the lag can be strange, missing FRCs makes me cry. 3. Frameskip can be annoying, also I must play this full screen or else I can't see shit 4. with full screen, I can't chat with who I am playing.. Thus going D: I'll keep playing though, it's fun. XD

GGs to those played tonight. You might have noticed some weird breaks in attacking or combos being broken short for no apparent reason. This is due to the awesome keyboard on my laptop that allows for only 2 key presses at once, maybe 3 if it feels like it. For example, 3D does not work at all for me. Neither do any other diagonal inputs ~80% of the time. Can someone suggest a decent PS2->USB converter? GGs all the same.
