MS Movelist

[A] Beam Rifle

Standard beam rifle shot. Can be charged.

Manual reload. Max ammo of 6. Cancels into itself 3 times without having to do a zunda cancel.

[CSa] Dummy Balloons

Forces enemies to attract assists to another target instead of Zeta Gundam.

[AB] Grenade Launcher

Carries two grenades. Will fire both grenades unless zunda'd out of, cannot be canceled into from BRs. They do not stop you in place when you fire them, unlike most Bazookas.

[AC] Hyper Mega Launcher

Fires a fast traveling beam that knocks down in one hit, does good damage.

[2B] Long Beam Saber Throw

Sword toss, stuns on hit.

[bC] Beam Confuse

Zeta throws a spinning beam saber before shooting it with its BR. The scattered shots will stun enemies.

[NB] Beam Saber

Basic Beam Saber attack. Can be charged.

[CSb] Methuss

Fully restores ally's ammo (all but nukes), usable once per respawn.

[EX] Hyper Beam Saber

EX Burst only. Can be done in MS mode.

MA Movelist

[MA A] Beam Rifle

Standard beam rifle shot. Can be charged.

Cannot reload. Max ammo of 6.

[MA AB] Beam Gun

Standard beam gun shot.

Max ammo of 5.

[MA B] Long Beam Saber

Basic Beam Saber attack.

[MA BC] Waverider Crash

Can be followed up with the following:

  • Backoff (Stuns the target)
  • Drill Attack
  • Beam Rifle
  • Beam Gun
  • Hyper Mega Cannon

[MA BC (EX)] Waverider Crash > Explosion

EX Burst only. Superarmor before Zeta Gundam hits its target.

Didn't know about CSb, that's pretty cool. Wonder how fast it is. Obviously, there could be good use pairing Zeta with suits that have powerful, but limited ammo moves....

Also, his BR isn't manual reload anymore?

His BR is still manual reload, just a minor mistake.

CSb is definitely cool. Im pretty sure there's a few things besides nukes it doesnt reload(mk-ii super gundam power up, for example..and maybe certain assists?) but i dont know the details yet. I wonder if it regens alex's armor. That'd be sick.

It may be best for regenning the funnels of hi-nu/qubeley/providence. If it regenned the o/qubeley/zaku pressure bursts, that'd be amazing. Need to end up making a thorough list of what it does and doesnt refill, and who benefits the most from it.(ie mechs with ammo problems, or lots of tools with 10-25 second reload times)

I changed it a moment, so hopefully I've updated it all according to plan. :P

And that's cool to hear, Mightfo. I'm personally interested in seeing how Zeta Gundam will perform in FB once its released.

some details about the weapons:

Main/BR

Cancels into itself 3 times, unlike other BRs, this means that you can fire 3 BRs in a row without having to do a zunda cancel.

Sub

Will fire both grenades unless zunda'd out of, cannot be canceled into from BRs. They do not stop you in place when you fire them, unlike most Bazookas.

AC

Fires a fast traveling beam that knocks down in one hit, does good damage.

BTW in case you dont know mike, zeta can use 2b AB as a fastfall since the recent FB patch. Don't forget his MA moveset too.

Pretty sure it doesnt fill nuke or pressure fields but im not sure. Sadly, while its easy to find footage of an individual mech being played ,its hard to find like "qubeley with zeta as partner" or whatever, so we'll just have to wait till FB to test easily. Beam fence is a good thing to check. I looked at several but could not find any zeta+prov vids.

Dances's point is nice too.If dances is right, then csB would not refill providence net, because burst does not.

I *think* the JP wiki says it only refills what awakening refills. But someone like brett who can actually read it should check.

I think zeta+prov would be a fine team. Prov has better ammo in FB for everything, and 2 zeta csBs would mean plenty of funnels and A. Providence 5AC is improved in FB too, so he could clutch out some situations with that. Zeta A could probably go well with prov funnels to help win neutral, and prov net-> Hyper Mega Launcher may be higher damage than net->prov csA.

I heard 2500+2000 is bad cost composition though? In general that kind of team would lack burst damage, but it would be well rounded and have excellent control.

Regarding his CSb, it's confirmed that it refills only what a burst refills.

And yeah 2.5k / 2k isn't a very competitive comp, but hey, anything has a chance of winning :P

Here are some cancels you can do:

2B -> Sub (turnaround freefall cancel aka usakyan; must have ammo)
CSa/CSb -> BC (goes into MA mode; good for evasion)
