Any new players that want to join an event where you can dive in and play with others of similar skill, here's your opportunity. This isn't meant to be a training camp sort of thing, but rather a relaxed environment where you can mash out robots however you want. Try a new suit! Practice with one you're comfortable with! It doesn't matter, just as long as you're having fun doing it. You might improve, you might just get your butt kicked, but it'll all be in good company There's no real criteria for joining. I'd like to think the EXVS community isn't one that sees a beginners lobby and thinks "time to pown some newbz!!!" so if you think you're bad at the game (like I know I am), you should drop by! Lobby name: NA Beginners Host location: Southeast US Time: Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9PM to 12AM EST On Saturdays the lobby will be a Team Shuffle lobby. This is a perfect opportunity to try out new suits and get a feel for one you like and want to get better with. On Wednesdays the lobby will be a Team Hold lobby. Here's a chance to develop teamwork/unit synergy with someone. Whether it's your regular partner or someone you've never played with before, it's a good chance to familiarize yourself with the flow of matches and hone your skills! Note that idling in the team lobby will not be tolerated -- If a team spot is open and someone isn't joining it, they will be removed from the lobby. This is a closed lobby event, so if you want in send a message to WeeabooMode on PSN. I'll be streaming it on my Twitch channel for the amusement of those better than me. If there's a major problem with delay, I'll do my best to remove the problem players. This is meant to be a relatively low latency lobby. We've had some success with EU-region players, so if they've got decent connections the lobby will be open to them as well. Soon we're going to be getting started with the first EXVS Beginner Lobby evening, so here's how things are going to shake out. The first room will be hosted by myself (ElTacoSegundo on US PSN // WeeabooMode on JP PSN when EXVSFB launches). If it fills up, feel free to start another lobby. The lobby type will be a Shuffle type. I'll also be hosting a skype call. My Skype id is "tacotiger", so send me a message if you'd like to be added to the call. I'll do my best to monitor it between matches and add people as I see them. Discuss basics, ask questions, or talk about whatever you want, game-related or not.
