Oh sorry, I was trying K Mappa RC CWH, and then just raw CWH, I guess I'm just trying to optimize damage off Mappa RC though, so I don't know how much I can really do with those combos off something like 5K K Mappa RC.

 

edit: oh and regarding the launcher after CWH, I was doing 5K, or just c.S

 

I dont know if you know, but 5.K scales really hard and some combos drop due to that.  Regardless Sols timing on the airloop is tedious compared to most characters and the launchers to use for him are unorthodox.

You're the best man, I just saw you doing some 5K launchers on the original video so I just applied it to Sol without thinking.

 

I really hope you make a series for each specific character like this video, I'll be studying it like the bible!

I know that in the vid that I did showcasing combos on Multiple character sizes covered nearly everything....Damn I didnt even realize that I forgot to put Sol in that one lol.  I dont know how I remember to do Faust and then not Sol

 

Meh, if you want any more I can do them on request, but generally some of the ones from the previous vid will transfer well minus oddballs like Sol.

I think some people use ">" in between moves to provide spacing so its easier to read.

Like for instance:

6HS > 214KK > 5K > j.S > j.H > etc.


It just makes it a little easier to read with more spacing than just a comma.

This is a bit better but I always go for minimalized stuff.

It's not really a big deal since I could obivously translate your combo but small things such as double jump was missing so it might be weird for people to know where to double jump (if they are new and can't visually see).

Also i'd like to point out Aperture as you're probably aware, you can use 5s instead of 5k post CWH to juggle fat people like bedman and get exactly the same damage with what appears to me to be more consistency. I drop it a lot using 5k at the jump cancel jd and almost never if i started the juggle with 5s.

I dunno, it's just an alternative. It seems to work more consistently for me using 5S, and the only people im going to be doing those combos on are fat characters anyway.

Well thanks then.

 

Regardless all this brainstorming that I did in the last video about airloops on different characters made me want to squeeze as much as I could out of those loops and get them off random hit confirms.  So then I made another vid showcasing most of the ways you can get the "airloop" or whatever in a combo.

Btw Slayers of Dustloop, what is the name that everyone has given the little airloop thing that Slayer has?  I dont want to call it the rest cause it isnt similar to his past ones and I cant think of anything creative involving Footloose Journey, any ideas?

I just want to say, some of your recent videos, this one included, have absolutely turned around my game. I had been lazy about learning proper combos since I picked up GG last December, but your videos inspired me. I have sore hands from training mode from the last few days, and it has paid off! I was able to take a few matches off of a really tough friend recently. Thank you, really! And I can't help it, now I think "Slayercoaster" when I see some of those combos. Good stuff. ^_^

Here's something you can help me with, I've been trying to do the rejump combos but from the far left side of the stage moving forward and Ive noticed that if Im not doing the combos from the middle to corner of the screen, the last jP -> jD will sometimes whiff because I'm not near the corner's wall. 

 

Am I doing something wrong or do you have a different ender for when you're still midscreen?

It somewhat depends on the character for me.  Occasionally I will just not try to link J.K after J.D and instead opt for a J.P < J.S instead.

 

May I ask the characters that you are having this issue with?

2H is -9. prolly deserved. it still reaches the opponent at round start range, and untech is also increased enough that you can RC 2H and ignore RC scaling.

 

also a very slight horizontal range increase on 2D. specifically mentions SS SS 2K-2D working on crouching ino, where it didn't previously (this happened to me in tournament X( ).

Were there changes to 6k recovery? I saw something stating that it was reduced from 7 to 5 which would make it 0 on block, and potentially combo reliably on meaty.(Or hopefully crouching Faust, haha.)

Wut.....Well what is the point of it now besides random reversal?

 

Unless it has crazy amounts of hitstop it will once again worthless besides psuedo DP.
