after 2S>2H> you can 5H>j.K> air combo in the open without wall. Was doing it last night in practice mode.

Sorry this is wrong. You can dandy into cross and 5H>air combo. Don't know what I was tuning this morning. I blame the alcohol... But yea. Had to correct that mistake. Sorry guys.

Also, last night I was plinking to do the S>S>S>S series out of habit and every once in a while I would get blue sparks and Slayer doing his blocking animation. I haven't found a way to intentionally reproduce it and I don't know what it is. Anyone got an idea?

i think that was blitz shield (S+HS)

5H>2H may have a place in a wall stick combo

ur right i managed to do 5D (6) -> c.S -> f.S -> 5HS -> 2HS -> 5P -> j.P -> air combo

It's the same old IK, but the start up is 5D's animation instead of 6P. Someone tweeted an image of it around release day.

I saw it myself and have it saved in my iPad....I love it

random notes.

bite has ridiculous dizzy. 5 bites (stagger too short for loops) dizzied millia.

6P combos into 6H meterless in the corner with the right spacing (i.e. not touching the corner). CH 6P nets nothing midscreen

2P-2S-2H works

5P-6H combos on air CH

can still combo j.P after mashed 5P

5D (6) -> c.S-6H xx heel

undertow RC into combos. can also be PRC'd!

pilebunker RC -> 6H xx heel for better 50 tension damage

interesting combo route: heel, 5H > j.K-S-H-2K, j.P-K... relaunch with c.S or continue with double jump?

under pressure has enough untech to link c.S/5K -> aircombo

6[K] feint is in

reconfirming: 6H xx pile works on standing

also: helter skelter link to j.H, SS... j.H-D sounds optimal though.

helter skelter can be thrown before active frames :(

things i need a double take on:

2K links into c.S?

f.S>6H gatling?

5K clash with wakeup VV?

j.H god hitbox?

lol:

5D (6) > SS RC IK with 100 tension

6P god hitbox (traded with grand viper)

RC gimmicks (late 5D uncombo, crossup dash...)

Seeing as some of you play Xrd Slayer, how is he looking so far compared to the rest?

in terms of other slayer incarnations? He lost the feints that accent core gave him, I'm not gonna be crippled due to the loss of force breaks and the other dandy steps. Helter skelter looks promising

Oh, I meant vs. the rest of the cast, lol. Good to hear about how he fares vs. his other versions, though. I'm only familiar with AC and +R Slayer.

Glad I can help you out. I just assumed it was comparison to other slayers so I listed off what I can compare and contrast :)

Also j.2K has a different animation but works just the same.

It definitely acts similar, but not exactly the same.

edit: We'll be getting some good Slayer stuff in a few minutes. Get hype.

yeah, still it's a good reminder of the past...besides it actually makes air combos with j.2k EASIER

Yep, 2K>c.S is totally a link. That's actually pretty cool. I wonder if it links to anything else worth while. 2K>2P>2S>2H probably isn't a thing, and if it is, it's probably not possible to do anything else.

Also, to me it seems like the new j.2K is hard to combo after. Dunno where you gather it being easier.

the animation mainly. I find it hard to time attacks sometimes in +R with the flip animation.

i think 5P and c.S are both 5f in #reload? might be able to do 2K,5P>5K>2D/mappa if you're too far out for c.S

one other tidbit i forgot to mention: slayer does not recoil if helter skelter is shielded. this would imply it being a projectile? (this would also explain having enough time to link j.H after) the acid test would be seeing it flicked, i suppose

EDIT: Guess we now know why bite loop isn't in the game. The damage and stun from bite is ridiculous lol.

Anyone care to explain what happens at the 4:18 mark? I haven't used Slayer since #R so I'm a bit rusty. Kuno combos S, 2D, does Dandy Step and then cancels into what looks like 2HS or is this a brand new move for Xrd Slayer? This causes a cross up and he's in the air immediately after wards allowing him to combo into j.HS, etc... I don't know if this is a by product of the move or if the move is jump cancel-able.

EDIT: Sorry, saw later in the vid that 2HS has a different animation. So then this is a new move for Xrd but still wondering about the properties of it since he's in the air immediately after wards.
