Dreiko Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Here's a new (I think) image with the console game menu: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BzbmIVHCEAE4UlF.jpg It turns out to have an actual challenge mode, making it less bare bones than UNIEL. I guess it makes sense since this game is much likelier to sell well.
Setsuna Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Thanks for the answers! Is there any benefit to gaining Grade on the arcade machine (like unlocking those profile banners shown before a fight)? Or it's just like your "EXP" of a certain character? Also another question for anyone in this thread: I have the physical Vita version preordered and was going to get the PS3 digital (on my JP PSN account). However, Vita doesn't allow for multiple accounts (I only have my NA PSN account on it). Does that mean there will be a problem with the cross-save feature? It sort of like experience, it kind of represents how much you play/win. Think RIP from UNIEL. Benefit ? Probably those icons/plates on the arcade machine for their profile as well as colors. When you download the digital PS3 copy just make sure you play the game on your US account on the same system. You're not limited to playing it on the account you downloaded it nor is ti restricted by region either. Hope that helps !
~KAZE~ Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Oh yay. I love challenge mode. I'll be spending plenty of time in there day one

I guess the only problem with PS3->Vita would be if there's ever DLC. Cant wait to play as Kirino and Taiga, their trump cards always crack me up lol. In one of your videos, a really good Taiga player started round 2 with her trash can kick that made the commentator bust up xD.
Dreiko Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Oh right, on the matter of a skype group, since some people expressed interest I figure we should start it sometime soon. Should I make the group? I don't mind but if someone else (someone perhaps more informed about the game) wants to that'd be fine too. If everyone's fine with me making it, you can start messaging me your skype IDs and I'll begin inviting ya. My skype is Dreiko-sama.
CamTSB Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 It really shouldn't matter who makes the group. If it gets to be a larger group than expected, you can always make someone well-informed an admin in the group, but I don't foresee that being too much of an issue at all. Hit me up whenever is good with you, I'm literally always online, just set to DnD. Skype account is thesweetestbelle and the display name will come up as Cam (TSB). If you'd rather I just add you and make it easier on you just let me know.
Setsuna Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 I'll make a group when I get home for those who are interested in asking questions and having discussions about the game, I don't think a subforum will happen like with UNIEL and AH3LM but it can make due for the time being ~! I'll add your skypes later tonight

I'll add your skypes later tonight Much appreciated! And I agree, there's not likely to be a DFC subforum, so I've already gone ahead and thrown together a bunch of Taiga information into pastebins and google docs, so I can keep links handy for anyone wanting info.
Setsuna Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 I made the Skype Group, if you're interested in grouping please tweet your Skype ID to me or PM me here ~
Dreiko Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Thanks! I listed my skype above so feel free to add me. (if you wanna send me a contacts request, you can tell me by the Bang avatar :D)
CamTSB Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Went out for a bit unexpectedly, so I hope I can get in there some time soon. Saw a few people that definitely seemed interested on twitter, so that's a good thing to see!
ivanchu77 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Very interesting matches in the latest a-choo video, i liked that Taiga a lot (2014-9-23) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLlFt2q2VuA

Fujiwara Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Okay, guys. I've put this channel together to archive Taiga Matches. Channel is very much a work in progress, so please deal with it for now. Player names, sources URLs and anything else I think is necessary will be added at a later date once I'm up to date on uploads. The playlists are sorted by: Player Assist Match up All for the convenience of the viewer looking for anything specific. If you any suggestions for improvement of the channel, let me know. https://www.youtube.com/user/TaigaArchive P.S- Where are the rest of the Taiga players hiding?
Metronome Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Going to be hitting the grind hard when this releases! Never wished for same day international shipping so hard in my life.
caiooa Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 P.S- Where are the rest of the Taiga players hiding?the method i use to find matches for a specific characterIn the oficial site, in the section アーケード page 2 (http://climax.sega.jp/arena.html), you will find the link for the aime database. You can always pick it there if you don't remeber/don't have it in the favorites http://sp.cliapm.info/ There, in ランキング > GRADEランキング you will have acess to the data of the top rank players. In the bottom you can select any specific character. It's not necessary to fill, so the players might not do it frequently, but in their profile there's a section named ホームグラウンド, this is "home ground". When it's filled, it have the name of the arcade the player go the most. Obviously, people travell to play, but it's unlikely for them to travel for weeklys tourneys. It's more easy to find footage of them in their "home" arcade, or another arcades from the same city/district. If all fails, then it comes the route of seeing videos and streams from everywhere. There "furious blog" can help.http://twilog.org/Furious_blog/search?word=【電撃FC】&ao=ahttps://twitter.com/Furious_blog this twitter acc post links to streams of fg tourneys. As nico streams archive can only be acessed by premiuns (and only for some time), if no one manually re upload the video it's lost. Other thing is that a lot of arcade shops have nico, ustream, twitch or even youtube channels, but people aren't even aware of it, so they aren't able to search videos from them. For example, taiga n°1 have the "home ground" in blank, but i saw him in kouhatsu because of furious rocket (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/53331792)

I even have some players I can talk to on twitter. The meaning of the question was: Where are the rest of the U.S TAIGA players. I should've been more clear. thank you anyways, though.
caiooa Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 sorry, just thinked it couldn't be it because dfc is not out in ps3 and there's no ring edge 2 in USA...
RurouniLoneWolf Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 P.S- Where are the rest of the Taiga players hiding? *Raises hand* Future duo Shana-Taiga main here right here! Also, thanks a lot for putting together that channel. Taiga footage was hard for me to find before now. This is a big help.
CamTSB Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Where are the rest of the U.S TAIGA players. I'm almost offended Fuji, haha. Clearly Canada is going to have enough Taiga to prove her worth.
Tigre Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Where are the rest of the U.S TAIGA players. Playing Shana.
Dawn of Musou Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I'll be playing Taiga as well. Kugimiya duo is too awesome to not use.
ChexGuy Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I'll be playing Taiga as well. Kugimiya duo is too awesome to not use. They should remove every character except Taiga and Shana and call it Kugimiya Fighting Climax, or KFC for short.
Kyosuke Kagami Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Eh... dudes, do you think this game will feature DLC? I hope not, because the only version I'm planning to buy is Vita's :v (or well, I may get PS3 version, but a lot later).
Metronome Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I'm hoping for DLC but nothing stupid like pairs of glasses (even though I totally bought that for P4A...)
