So, there is already a post for this topic, but its really tedious to go through all the posts, so I thought it would be cool to have like a visual representation of that.

I main Hazama because he's really fun to play, and I've been trying to improve with him for a long time. I also like Yuuki Terumi too, although I'm not interested in playing him.

 

I love Terumi/Hazama's style, with very cool attacks, moves, and clothing.  And how can you not love that unique (sick and twisted) personality? He's fantastic.

I have the super unoriginal dual mains of Jin and Terumi.

Jin was easy for me to get into during CS2 when I started playing it rather casually, I stepped it up more in extend but still kept Jin, and he just happens to be amazing in CP.

Terumi is just fun, he's a challenge against people who are incredibly patient and have good defense, but to just jump in? He's a blast, that and it's so satisfying getting off his 10k damage setup.

I main Tsubaki, she has almost every tool a person could want in a character.

Despite being the second most hated character in this game next to Kokonoe, I feel that Valkenhayn is great simply because at a high level he is one of the most flashy and exciting characters in the entire roster. You don't see Valkenhayn almost at all in more casual levels of play, so I like being able to show people who aren't used to seeing him just what he can do. There's also the fact that oki/mixup characters are da bess.

.... He also may be a bit too good, but CP1.1 is soon so cut the old man some slack. He just wants to prevent you from playing off of one knockdown.

I use Azrael because his damage output is awesome and he's constantly at a frame advantage.

Also, his backdash is godlike.

Been maining Jin since CT and that's probably never gonna change. The 6A nerf in 1.1 hurts hard though.

Hakumen now and forever. He pretty much fills my quota for a fighting game character. Even if I don't really like how his CP incarnation plays.

I love playing a patient game where I can use long range to stuff out the opponent's approach and control the pace of the match while I get up to hijinks and go to town on turtlers, so Nu is perfect for me.

Been playing Tager and Arakune since CT. Used them as crutches in CT so I could compete with my better friends as I didn't know airdashes at all back then and they were both noob stompers. Still enjoy playing them and play them best now.....and still noob stompers. Also they are just cool characters, REAL SOVIET DAMAGE! followed by a swarm of BEEEEEEES!!!.

Arakune main.  He was the main reason I picked up this game, because being able to play as No-Face in a fighter seemed like the coolest thing ever.  I usually pick my mains entirely based off of character design, and force myself to learn their playstyle.  I've been with Arakune during the good times (CT) and the bad (CP), and we'll be together until the end of time.

This is hard for me to decide urghhhh. I love playing Ragna and Hazama to death but Terumi...Dear god, he's everything I wanted from the announcement and more. I'm not sure if I could really call him my "Main" though...I still play Hazzie more often.

I don't even know anymore.  In CT I barely had a main because I didn't like anyone that much (and Rachel was too hard) so I mashed D with Noel.  In CS1/2/EX it was all Makoto but she's just a lost cause now.  Tried switching to Mu-12 but she doesn't suit me.  Tried switching over to Terumi since he has similarities to Makoto and he's fun but still has limits and he gets less fun over time.  Now I'm focused on Rachel again but I don't know if I'll ever get to a level where I'm comfortable playing her in tournament.  Buff squirrels pls.

So what I'm taking from this is that the assertion that no one plays Tsubaki so that's why she's bad is a lie. :P

A close friend and I decided our CP mains before it was out. He took Terumi for the tenaciousness of his specials. Ragna was his main prior. I come from mashing Noel but placed my preference on Bullet and since launch... I've learned a lot. I've been education fodder for a Terumi player with far better technical skills. He gets so excited just seeing what he can throw together.

A third, more casual pal was - is sore over Jin's changes, feeling as if his options were cut down and he happily plays Nu (despite everyone habitually calling her Lambda).

Funny to see that Bang is literally the only character with not even a single vote. But why am I the only Tager main?! Where's the love for the red devil?
