back on topic, has anyone seen any other CH BE occurances? Wondering what's up with this part:

It looks like Noel was doing 2D and it CH her out of that, I didn't think that put her in the air though. But it blue beated really fast, as if it hit her in the air first hit. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So does anyone know if CH BE > 5A still works?

and yeah sorry if I'm posting redundant stuff I'm just finally starting to watch vids :P

im 95% sure i saw grounded confirm off CH BE, she probably 2d’d

oops, meant to say I thought she was doing 4D there, so I was wondering why BE did the launch. It would make sense if she was doing 2D.

the only feasible solution is that she canceled into 2D, really. i dont see any other way that could happen unless something else changed we dont know about.

Well, 6B is an overhead, and hence a bit slow. You know when you are gonna do 6B, so whenever you go for it, you have time to mentally ready yourself to 6A if it hits. It's not like you're doing 5B>6A, which is fast and doesn't really give you time.

I wouldn't say everyone in Japan, just most players we see in the vids. Like, we need to see players like Sakamoto Ryouma play.

cuz they want to autopilot and don't give a fuck, that's why.

Edit: Dunno if this has been said before, but 22C doesn't have fixed damage it seems. It does differing amounts of damage depending on proration. I've seen it do as low as 200~ish damage, and according to the first post of this thread, as high as 952 damage.

HF's P2 is 82 now

On the subject of the hit confirming 6B>whatever, wouldn't 6B>5D(1) be easy to confirm since you can get ready to ID and if they block it you can at least go into DS and I think BS too whereas 6A is pretty much you committed to doing that and know they wont block it. Plus it's a lot easier to see and get ready to press buttons on a blocked 6A than 5D(1).

I can imagine 6B > 5D xx 623D being optimal at the corner, but i imagine for midscreen then 6A xx HF could possibly be the more optimal route. Who knows :V

Well of course it would be more optimal, but maybe we should do like Titanium Beast said in a earlier post and not focus on a high/low mixup midscreen. Remember his throw combos got a bit stronger midscreen both in damage and corner carry thanks to new HF. Not saying don't do 6B midscreen, but it would definitely suck if you lost momentum just cause they blocked right.

This new HF keeps looking better and better. I can't count how many matches where my opponent was about to die and I just got 50 heat from the last part of the combo, but I wasn't close enough to the corner to do anything. If there's ever a list of important combos to learn I think this should definitely be in there.
