Good stuff. Missing a move description for teleport and more optimal bnbs and combo theory, but it seems our boy Madigawa will get on that.

I've been using Dash C against people who like to backwards tech and jump your midscreen orb oki, since dash into 2B/5B/2C was too slow.

It completely destroys them (mainly because it's air unblockable) until they start teching and blocking like a smart player, but then you just make them eat mixup.

B-lynchpin enders(more damage on 5a combo)

  • 22c = 363 damage (meter)
  • 236+a = 270
  • 236+a, 236+c = 520 to 570 range
  • charged c = 73 x 4/5 depending on hit
  • j.2c, a+d = 1700 damage (good damage, opponent can tech throw and leaves you at huge disadvantage use at your own risk, use on unwary opponents)
  • 41236+D = around 1000 damage

So I wrote this up to help LK learn about Hilda. It doesnt really have anything I'd expect people to not know about and stuff, but I figured it would be a good thing to share with everyone since its nothing too crazy to keep hidden:

Basically my attempt at a general guide. Its definitely not perfect as the game is still new (in the states) and is strictly based off of my own knowledge, so I'd appreciate concrete feedback/corrections/proof reading and editing from anyone willing to help out. Any information i've gotten from other sites/people I have tried to cite in this doc, so if theres any issues with me using said information please let me know.Ā

God, this charging b lynchpin is driving me nuts. Like, do you do her launcher and then hold it down? Or do you keep holding after launcher. I'm very confused.

After you do something like 22A/B or 623A, hold down your B button and continue your combo from there. So an example combo would look like this:

5B 2B 2C 623A(earliest moment where you can hold down B for B lynchpin) delayed 3CC 22A(latest point in combo where you can hold B) 3CC or dash C, then release your B button so the B lynchpin comes out.

Ā 

The minimum time you need for lynchpin to be charged is 46f which is relatively short, so you have a lot of time in the middle of combos to get the necessary charge. Basically the idea for Hilda combos is to use the time during any of Hilda's specials to hold your button there.Ā

he just explained everything. 22a or b is the launcher. if doing 22b hold b. if doing 22a, after a just go to b as quickly as you can and do 3cc as usual. you must be holding b a little bit before pressing 3cc to end the combo. the timing isn't too strict, but not too lenient either. it shouldn't take too long to find the appropiate timing in training.

Most JP BBS tier lists have her at B. That was one tier list with a guy who's not very good and from my understanding, spouts questionable frame data.

After playing her for a while, yeah I feel like there's no way she's low tier like the arcadia list said (which a lot of people still believe). If she had a real reversal I think she'd be really cheap so I'm almost glad she doesn't. Where is a more recent list out of curiosity?Ā

Nothing official or reputable just JP BBS.

Personally I'd definitely place her above Chaos and Akatsuki. Probably in the next batch of characters, which is a pretty big list actually.

What I hear is that her matchups are basically very lopsided. She fares well against top tier (zones Gord fine, for example), but not so well against, say, Linne (who has roll + ex hien), etc.
