But SWD, REGARDLESS of what we will lose. We still don't know what we'll gain. I know you put a lot of work into this iteration of Nu, but we can't change it. We can only hope that we'll get something of equal or better value.

Noticed changes (I haven't turned the sound on due to work, so I'll watch it again later to see what they're saying):

Nu gets a new act parser.

Nu has 3 versions of spike chaser.

Lambda Cavalier wall bounces again

Lambda Blade grounds

Lambda Zwei can be canceled into Nail maybe?

Lambda has 2 version of gravity seed, one with a hitbox for full meter and a one without a hitbox for less.

Lambda 5C > 5D is a thing.

I also noticed that Lambda can pick up an opponent off the ground with her drive now. So it makes me wonder if she do a ground combo and easily take the opponent in the air for a full drive combo (say for instance cancelling into the nail or something). Lambda's 4B (6B now I guess) crumples.

Oh yeah, Nu's gravity seems to have a shorter cooldown. I remember when she did gravity in BBCP, once it ended there was still some meter left to fill. In this version she seems to fill the meter all the way up when gravity ends.

And also, Lambda has 236D~C back. So she can do oki from fullscreen now. The speed seems to match the BBCP version, so probably still 5 hits.

Ty for pasting that over here. You saved me the trouble. I'll listen to the audio of the video later today and see if they add anything. I was wondering if anything was being said while they ran around the stage as Nu and Lambda early on, but I can't have the audio on here in the lab due to acoustic tests.  I was hoping they were mentioning something about mobility. I don't recall them using sickle storm with Lambda in the video, did they? If they did, did anyone see how many hits it was? I noticed they changed the look (and hopefully hitbox) on Nu's sickle storm, so I wonder how Lambda's managed.

Also at least j.2D launches from standing.

From the looks of her sickle storm does at least 4 hits, but some of the move missed, and they only did it twice in the video. The speed is the same, but it look like it could be 6 hits. The 236D~C version also seems to move a bit more, so it's kinda like Nu version in a sense. Also, I'm not sure what's the more effective air ender, nail or saber. I guess whichever one positions them on oki best.

Lambda's swords do an Auto-Followup on hit, and it looks like you can't cancel them into each-other except in the air.

Here's the Celica and Lambda (and a bit of Nu) part from the stream:

SWD, consider putting this in the topic post. I don't want it to get buried in the hype thread.

Nu's 236D wallbounces. Nu's drives appear to have better proration or damage. Lambda doesn't have the 20% damage boost anymore, but her drives have better proration or damage than the current Nu. Or it's possible her drives have varying damage values.

Lambda doesn't have a 236D~C anymore.

Lambda's Legacy Edge is more concentrated in the middle where as Nu's is normally spread wider.

I made a list of Nu's changes so far in the CP Nu thread: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/7336-cp-13-gameplay-discussion/?p=828106

Oh, I didn't notice that the blade wasn't going backward. Her 236D moves really far this time then.

I watched some of the Lambda gameplay and it looks like she has a new special? Maybe it was j.6D, but the way she crouched twice before it makes me think it might be 22D.

So during OD Lambchop's 5D sword got bigger and did more damage. 5DD did 648 originally and 777 in OD. I think it would have done more if the 5DD was enhanced as well, but the first hit killed Nu and ended OD. There may have been an additional effect added to her drives follow-up (IE untech time, launch, vacuum, whatever) that we did not get to see as a result of the premature end. this is supported by the fact that a meager difference of 129 damage is hardly OD damage material.

Quoting myself feels weird but re-typing my words is non-pragmatic.

If they keep the backwards moving 236D, then it would create an ambiguous cross up in the corner since projectiles don't go offscreen anymore.

Without counter hit, that's a really good addition. Can be used with all sorts of AA baits. Also, it looks like Crescent is a different shape. It's smaller, hugs her more, and goes directly under her which may be useful for hitting opponents straight below her.

Also, I assume the Astrals will be different from one another.

I expect Lambda's AH to be a throw again.

I hope not, I was finally getting used to having an astral that didn't suck.

I can see that, but it was so gratifying to land. The fact that you couldn't combo into it made it more so. Running away from a Tager trying to grab you all round and then sliding into his fat ass and grabbing HIM for the astral was worth his weight in gold.

The grab astral made me wish I had never been born, I can't say I'd be sad if it wasn't included. It'll be hard to make a worse astral than that.

It was 0f startup. That's great. If you get them to block something and do it they're dead.

Its hitbox was an inch and a half wide.
