Both those sources say that she has a different Drive from Nu, and that she's based on one of her forms. That's it. If this was SF or some other fighting game, this would've already been more than enough to justify a new character, but ASW's track record clearly shows how deeply they care about character variety, so I'm more inclined to believe that it won't come down to just those two points. This isn't Hat Noel or something like that, why do you expect the worst-case scenario?

And if Makoto does not receive any significant buffs, I might as well quit the game. I'm almost convinced now that Lambda-11 will play like Ramlethal Valentine. One drive will be for setting up and the other will be for detonating. That sounds about right to me.

Makoto does not need to be dumpster tier for any reason.

I've needed a new character to fill Jin's spot in my roster anyway, since I haven't been playing him all that much anymore. I'm interested to see how they will differentiate Lambda from Nu, but I'm not too interested. Never could get a grip on those Murakumo characters.
TPPR10 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 So I am going to throw a wild guess that Celica will be a dart board with defense mechanism. I.E. She does nothing more than maybe few slaps and maybe she has some sort of healing move and Minerva does pretty much everything else.

I'd rather that we not get any more god-tier or garbage tier characters. Though, I'd find it funny if she was mid-tier overall, but was godlike against Kokonoe or something (kinda like Megaman in MvC2).
