It wouldn't shock me to discover that since Celica is basically a noncombatant, that ALL her moves involve Minerva, thereby making her more like Rachel and Nago than Relius and Ignis.

Her 2A already proves that wrong. Though she probably won't do that much beyond that and some occasional healing, yeah.

Characters who are add-ons/DLC=new. Questions?

Well this works. Makoto, Valk, Platinum, Terumi, and Kokonoe were DLC characters. Of them, three were considered broken or too good. So, statistically speaking, there is a 60% chance that any character ASW puts out as DLC will be broken or too good.

Anyways, if we go by this logic, either Lambda or Celica will be broken or too good. Or they could both just suck. I don't know. Humans don't understand the concept of randomness.

I imagine they divine the current Nu into 2 instance, and add more moves to both so they will be different to each other. Positively hoping, I know.

I won't be so salty about the new version if only the localization isn't that far away from the release date of the JP version.

It's nice that you changed the definition to fit your argument, and then intentionally left out Terumi and Platinum.

It's not like there was a Nu in CT, Bang/Litchi in CS, right?

I never changed my description, and I'm not arguing. I did not mention Plat or Terumi because they weren't broken (even though Plat had silly damage) and if you believe Bang, Nu and Litchi to be broken, then you just added to my point. How you chose to take what I said is up to your problem.

When someone asked whether Minerva works independently like Nirvana or subordinately like Ignis, Mori replied saying she works in unison. I probably would have guessed that already from the screenshots anyway as Celica seems to interact directly with Minerva in many of those moves. Still, confirmation is good.

I've been thinking about that maybe if they are in unison like Mori said, they could be like Rachel, Nago, and Gii, like Airk said, but what about her hurtbox? I mean Nago is like an extension of Rachel's hurtbox and all. Could it be that Minerva is part of Celica's hurtbox as well if they are one unit with the aspect of two? That could be a problem. Guess we'll have to wait for more info.

Sweet. Now I just need to find out if Minerva runs on any sort of gauge like her big sisters and how she moves (does she follow Celica herself or does she move step by step as Celica does).

Isn't Minerva the original? Making her the big sister?

Minerva is some bootleg puppet thrown together by Kokonoe based on Relius's designs to protect Celica.

Don't really care about Celica, but very much looking forward to more info about Nu/Lambda. I originally planned to go ham on Nu, but when I saw the mode switching, I couldn't deal with it. 3awkward5me. So now that that's gone... :>

Basically if she plays like a P4A character. Interest intensifies.

I know it won't happen, but it will be hilarious if the one you directly control is Minerva while Celica just running around like Rachel's Gii.

I would like that better actually. It's better than trying to watch Celica fight.

Umad?

Anyway, anything that's cute, nonsensical, or over-the-top i feel belongs in this series, since it is made by ark. Also, we've seen Celica coming for a while now. I remember like 6 months ago, that's the only character people were actually expecting. Lambda caught a few people off guard, I was expecting another bad guy actually instead of her. But I see people happy she's in so its all good.

my only wish is that they revert the input buffer bullshit they added to the patch. doing 1623 gives you a  641236 super now and its gotten me killed many times when im trying to go for dprc.

I hope Orochi Burensen will work on both Minerva and Celica at the same time.

Or Burensou. Or even low Burensen (for psyche demoralization)

I wonder if Nu will still be good after losing all of her mode change stuff. Losing Luna mode Sickle Storm takes away a lot of safe mixup from her.

I sometimes hate ArcSys for announcing stuff so early... I mean when will Celica/Lambda make her way to psn if she gets to arcades in fall, probably in winter?

Same goes for Marie, if its the same waiting time for Marie as was for Kokonoe after the initial BBCP release, then I am a very sad panda :(

Kokonoe was released two weeks after the game's release, with all her files already on the disc. I think we'll manage.

I sure hope they balance the new dlc characters this time, plus seeing Lamdba back is nice but Nu losing her second stance which is Lambda's moveset sucks also.
