Gold Burst Bug

This has really been bugging me. Recently, I noticed that I am not getting full tension after a gold burst. The burst was gold and the foe was definitely hit. However, there was zero tension gained. Is this a graphical bug or a gameplay bug? Anyone know what is the cause of this problem? I've noticed this happen (4 times total) during my Ky (Me) vs Anji and Baiken (Me) vs Anji matches.

probably only thing that makes sense. if you put the constants in play, anji is in both fights and anji can guard point bursts

edit: sorry, just pointing out it's probably not a guard point issue. i still don't know what could cause it, though.

I've never seen this happen in AC+, I think it may be an Accent Core US only issue.

Actually, this probably IS a guard point issue. Anji's j.S has a faulty GP during the early frames of startup, which cause things to function as if they've been blocked. (In this case, the gold burst) I only tested it for a little bit in the US version of AC, but I was able to get several instances where I received no tension for the gold burst. Additionally, any time the tension gain did not occur, it was never considered a counter hit. In the video, you can see that Anji is in the startup for J.S just as the burst connects. No counter hit and no tension gain occurs. On a side note, if Anji is just about to land, the GP will function properly, and you can do a special/FB/OD if you'd like.

wow that's really unusual, i couldn't see if he was doing j.S or not (kinda blurry) so i was watching for a COUNTER to show up. interesting, thanks for pointing that out.

I saw this happen recently. It was Slayer's gold burst against axl. Axel was trying to go through it with his counter that makes him invulnerable on catch. He got hit, was blown away, and Slayer got no tension. Semi similar circumstances, but still weird.
