I just asked that because I thought when you said "the manly men", you meant "everybody but Carl", which would make me a sad panda.

I did mean that.

I also mean that Jin is a woman.

Only girls cosplay Jin.

AND guys very girly (:psyduck: many japanese or some american or chilean bisexual or gay)

You've never seen the Man in Faye Suit have you?

But Faye has such little clothing, thats just begging for a hairy sexy guy to cross gender it.

and the only Jin cosplayer i've seen WAS a guy, I could think of a certain cosplayer that could probably pull him off, but I detest her axel and roxas cosplay fetishes....:psyduck:

Well, here is my friend's attempt at Noel (Sesame). We are still working on making the costume cleaner/completer. Lot's of makeshift items. We'll finish it eventually.

I'm gonna see if I can legally obtain a cosplay. And then I will dress up all my friends.

Yes, I'm quite serious.

:psyduck: versus what... stealing?

Well, as long he's not ordering a living thing. . .or an outfit made of childporn, I don't really see what are the regulations. . . ... Or maybe he meant "stealing mom's credit card without getting noticed". . . ...I should stop procrastinate, and finish my Jin costume, even if I have errr, two months left.

I learned how to sew by making a stuffed headcrab. So you should try making a stuffed headcrab.

I'm not making Rachel. I'm making Ragna, Jin, and Noel.

And quite possibly TAGER for my friend back home, although I don't think he likes Tager.

I have 5 months to somehow make Noel.

But I don't know how to sew...

It helps to have someone that knows how to work a sewing machine to show you the ropes of it and it gets pretty straight forward from there.

If you're talking about handsewing, this is a fantasic site showing you a few of the basic handstiches and what they're used for.

There probebly won't be a pattern for just Noel but that's where you got to be a bit creative. Some people modify patterns or draft their own but you're in luck someone complied how they made their noel costume.

There are also other cosplay communities offsite that focus more on construction of costumes where maybe you can find more help than you might get in this thread.

I will be awaiting the update :keke:

I care! I'm planning on going as Hazama for A-kon 2010, but I really have no idea where to start. Tell me how yours turns out.

I haven't started on it yet but I plan on going to the mall Thursday to look for stuff. The cosplay shouldn't be too hard considering he wears really formal clothes. I can see his jacket/coat being a problem though.

Salvation Army, flea markets, murder a well-dressed shmuck on the street...

If anyone cares I plan on doing a Hazama cosplay for ACen 2010.

:V

Are you the person who posted on the ACen forums about this?

Or will there be TWO people for me to fangirl over? [as Noel... oh crap]
