Just came from a Cosplay event today (The O-Zine Festival 2010, SM Megamall, Philippines), and these caught me by surprise:

First I found Taokaka while roaming around the place (there were in fact TWO of them)

Then during the "catwalk" (the actual cosplay competition), out came Noel, Litchi, and... MAKOTO! (minus the tail) Picture is after they were finished with their walk in the spotlight (in fact they were probably on their way out for a break, but after I asked for a picture from them after which they gladly complied, hordes of other photographers joined in!).

Prepping my Hazama Cosplay for Fanime this year. I'll post some pics ones things are a little more concrete.

Quick question for you guys though. I was thinking about making a ouroboros. I kind of got the "How to make it" down but I'm not really sure how I should color it. It's black and highlighted neon green in the sprites. Maybe make the top and bottom neon green?

Most of the problem is Carl cosplays needs a tandem approach; Carl and Nirvana.

Trust me when I say looking like and acting like a character you cosplay has never stopped people before.

Though it never hurts when someone fits the bill.

Reason I asked that earlier was because I never see any male Carl cosplayers. It only seems to be short women who dress as him for some reason.

Maybe its something in the water.

I know a lot of female carl players in general (not sure the male/female ratio on dustloop though).

Or it might just be women avoiding the "all animu chicks have big boobs or a dick" stereotype by avoiding cosplaying dem animu chix.

I just always thought that it was because girls who cosplay more and they appear to be more versatile and won't have a stigma than a guy cosplayer i.e. won't get made fun of/still look good if they're cosplaying a dude.

Though that could be because when someone posts a good cosplay it's probably a guy :/

I doubt I could find something close enough to my skin tone as quickly as this needs to be done though...

Hazama cosplay (almost finished, for the London May MCM Expo)

Just need the tie, belt and gloves (will be binding my chest, as well). The wig will be styled properly on the day of the Expo/Event.

Will post another picture when it's all finished. Also I look really pudgy because I'm wearing literally six layers.

I was the only Ragna at the photoshoot. Yeah, the really misplaced concept one, but you get the drift.

Heh, well, the original BlazBlue Unofficial Tournament was cancelled, so I set up another one in their place with a really damned good Noel player.

I lost in the first round against Ice Car.

Here is our blazblue versus guilty gear skit from another con held in May 2010.

It's all in Russian though so I think I have to add subtitles later.It's about imaginary gag Olympics with Blazblue and Guilty Gear characters. Anyway, being able to put 26 characters on a stage for a single skit should be pretty epic lol
