"The game will however not be a retail release and instead will be distributed though the Playstation Network, currently a “mid” 2012 release is planned for Asia and Japan to follow shortly after. The company is interested in bringing the game over to North America and Europe, so there may still be hope for a traditional boxed release."

Reverse Arcana Heart 3 treatment?

TBH I'm doubting it myself. Still hype for the game regardless.

I'm surprised. The Chaos Code OST has been out for over 10 days now and not one single download of it is available online. So... Should I do people a favor?

Yes, please do. :)

I would love to hear the OST to the game myself; as it does look interesting so far. ^^

It's going to set me back about $40 to get the OST. Sounds ridiculous to the next person, but for me? Absolutely worth it.

Anyone else that's interested in just buying the dang thing instead of waiting for me to rip it can go here.

tbh, i would love if they decide to release the game as a psn over a retail, it cost less, and i dont have to wait for the game to arrive to my country

Looks like my desire to play Cthylla and Celia II seems plausible after all. Also I may troll my friends with Catherine if I get the chance.

True, I was saying that I was doubting that America would get a disk release.

Though I think if you had a japanese PSN you could get the game earlier anyway. (but I'm not sure, I don't have a PS3, but it seems I'll need to for this game.)

What's new for the home version of the game?

For the PS3 version, FK Digital is receiving support from Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan's content support program. They were abel to secure development kits through this, which is why they decided to bring the game to PS3.

PS3 is currently the only platform planned for the game. PlayStation Vita hadn't been announced when they first started on the consumer version, but they said that they'd like to consider it after finishing the PS3 version. If they bring their next project to consumer systems, they'd like to consider Vita from the start, they said.

The PS3 version is currently planned not as a package release, but as an online download. However, they're considering bringing the game to areas outside of Asia, including Japan, Europe and North America, so the possibility exists for a package release as well.

Changes for the PlayStation 3 version include a training mode, a versus mode and a gallery mode. The game will also see additional characters, balance adjustments, and other unspecified new modes. Regarding the new characters, they're looking into making the arcade version's last boss playable.

They're working on online play for the PS3 version. This will take some time, as they have to work on getting out the lag.

The demo that was on playable display at the Taipei Game Show listed a mid 2012 release time frame. This is for the Asian market. Japan will follow. They're not sure about release time frames for North America and Europe.

An online download like Dark Awake/Chaos Breaker huh? Seems interesting, but I am more interested in a retail release.
