Hiroshi Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 So many matches... will keep me occupied for quite some time.
SolxBaiken Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 FK Digital was handing out a flier to promote Chaos Code during Tokyo Game Show, as you expect it does a very general breakdown of the game's key features...but what's most interesting is it confirms Celia II will be playable in upcoming builds.
Starlight777 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 So a toned down and playable Celia II plus possible bug fixes? Yes indeed!
Kyosuke Kagami Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 ... will this game eventually get a PS3 port?
SolxBaiken Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Celia II doesn't really need to be toned down all that much, maybe just damage tweaks, but she doesn't seem all that bad, especially if you look at some of the Exceed combos people pull off. And yes there will be a console port, specific platforms haven't been named but I would hope Arc is above and beyond console exclusivity. Anyways: [TRF 1] [TRF 2] [TRF 3] [TRF 4] [TRF 5] [TRF 6] [TRF 7] [TRF 8] [TRF 9] [TRF 10] [Joy 1] [Joy 2] [Joy 3] [Joy 4] [Joy 5] [Joy 6] [Joy 7]
FormerlyUnknown Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 i've missed quite a lot here apperently seeing as I don't know anything about this celia II, or celia for that matter...or any of these people... i'm mistified how you all get story points out of match vids, unless there are key vids i've missed out on
Starlight777 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 i've missed quite a lot here apperently seeing as I don't know anything about this celia II, or celia for that matter...or any of these people... i'm mistified how you all get story points out of match vids, unless there are key vids i've missed out on No story points lol. All you need to know is that Celia=Robot, while Celia II is an obvious mark 2 of aforementioned robot.
SolxBaiken Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Celia and Celia II are two different people, they are not one being in either story or gameplay. I only know of two ending thus far, Cerberus continues his days of treasure hunting (with Cait & Sith's father?) and Cthylla turns Kudalk into her lackey and forces him to carry all her stuff as she attends the beach. The story is pretty light hearted and zany like the cast themselves.
FormerlyUnknown Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 funny cause there's nothing really light hearted about that creepy celia in the poster (i assume it to be model II)
Starlight777 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I knew they were different because I get a playful vibe from original Celia, while the other seems like a violent psychopath. Not to mention there are some key differences in their outfits. (II has feathers and no small hat on her hairband)

SolxBaiken Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Well today didn't yield any new videos, but new information sprung up! Remember how I said Celia II and fixes are coming to the game? Well on 9/25 they'll be holding a loctest for Chaos Code ver1.01! The event will be held at Club Sega in Akihabara, no other details (like the public release of 1.01) have been given at this moment.
SolxBaiken Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 [Riburosu 1] [Riburosu 2] [Nakano 1] [Nakano 2] [Nakano 3] [Nakano 4] [Nakano 5] [Nakano 6] [Nakano 7] [Nakano 8]
Starlight777 Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Catherine's voice is finally starting to annoy me a little lol. Also I think this is the first time I seen his level 3. Even though it's usually dumb to discuss tiers I think he looks like high tier.
Mr. Kimura Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 (edited) Have any of you guys kept up with the step/run and move choices as it pertains to matchups? I was just starting to take note of it and was wondering if at this point if it was anything to really keep track of. Edited September 22, 2011 by Mr. Kimura
xlolxlolx Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 step = more meter gain, fixed distance dashes, and can cancel attacks run = less meter gain, hold direction to keep running, magic girl and robot get hover dash in air
SolxBaiken Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 That...isn't exactly what he was asking, but you also forgot that you can Jump Cancel dashes. Anyways Joe I'd only take records of chosen skills and movement types if you are interested in see what is popular and beneficial to your character, otherwise I'd just experiment with everything. Generally speaking each character already has their tactics set in stone and the personal preference of the player (through selected skills) don't alter the matchup to a significant margin (unlike in Arcana Heart where there is a much broader margin of influence)
Mr. Kimura Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Ok thanks, I was in the Arcana Heart state of mind.
Delrian Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I was pleasantly surprised to find this in my YT subscriptions.
Starlight777 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I like how totally different they are moveset and personality wise. Regular Celia has a lot of zoning tools while Celia II looks as if she's geared towards constant rushdown. One acts cute while the other is just plain crazy. And lol at the "Unblockable" warning at the end.
CrescentSaber Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Wow this game looks really nice. Celia II looks awesome. I haven't been following this but damn that vid was nice.
furix Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Yeah, the game does look like it's really fun. I love the pace of the matches and the speed of the game.
