Koozebanian Fazoob Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 You can still loop Prankish Whip in the corner too, not sure if you can make it an infinite still with the ground run or not. But basically something like... 2A 2B 2C 236C-4C, c.C 6C 236C-4C, c.C 6C 236C-4C, > j.A C D > jc.A C B 214K Sorry if that's a little off, doing it off the top of my head. Wondering if you can build those kind of loops into something more damaging. Never seen those missile loops though, I'll have to mess around with those next chance I get.
Zouf Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I hope this gets GGPO netcode! :v It won't. The whole game needs to be reworked for it to accept a GGPO network. Too much of a hassle. But a network using P4A's netcode is more than enough. The game isn't so fast paced anyway. But now i'm just hoping for an online mode. We have no new info since months already, that's a shame.

Umm, actually...it's more likely than you think. FKD doesn't mind reworking the game for a GGPO network. In fact, it could very well be something as simple as a value add for NSC for example, as bringing that alone would technically be "reworking". I have contacted those in charge of GGPO personally and FKD was pleased with the price of the developer kit, which turned out to be a lot cheaper than what ArcSys was offering. (ASW supplying netcode isn't covered in the contract, and it is really costly on it's own.) I have said it before, and I'll say it again. Network Mode is being worked on. When will it be released? I don't know the exact date, but I was told to expect it to be done "before the end of the year". Going by FKD's track record, that should be sometime in December. This is pure speculation on my behalf, so take what I'm saying about it's release with a grain of salt. "Why is it taking so long?" Because FK Digital's development team is literally only 10 people. That, and combined with their inexperience of international distribution and it's costs, it isn't as easy as you think. There's your "new info" even though I have explained this already.
Tenryo Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 As for putting information on the wiki, I know that I've been slacking. But a lot of times I'm always on the move and with the little free time I possess I'm doing even more work. Some help on it would be appreciated. Pulling all the information off the JP wiki (http://wiki.livedoor.jp/chaoscode/) would make all of this a lot easier, but there is a lot of things I don't understand, and stuff like Google Translate isn't exactly a big help. The best way for you to contribute is to either contact bellreisa to set up an account or send me a pastebin/txt/whatever and I'll put all the info up there as soon as I can.

Dude no need to be on the defensive like this. It's cool if they are going for a rollback netcode really, i couldn't be more happy (if it works fine, unlike SF3.3 OE). I assumed it would be too much of a pain (and costly) to rework the game entirely than just adding the netcode, but your proved me wrong, good. Now i haven't seen you say those "new infos" in the past 10 pages (that i read before posting), that's why i've said that. I like this game (bought it day one on HK PSN), and i'll be really happy if it could be played internationally and who knows, shows up in some big events. But i was kinda worried about the silence around the online mode for the past few months.
jinxhand Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Is there any way this game can be featured on "TRB" or something similar??? Other "niche" fighters got a fair share at events like this and others, and this one definitely deserves a shot... I do wish FKD showed some more support to its players outside of Asia/Japan though, or maybe they left that all in Tenryo's hands (can someone please clear this up for me?)... Not doing this definitely hurts the rep, as I've read and heard of people wanting to give up on this game even though they know its great..
Delrian Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Because FK Digital's development team is literally only 10 people. Suddenly things make a lot more sense.
jinxhand Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Suddenly things make a lot more sense. It's like SNK's team when they were working on KOF XII and XIII.

Sorry for the negative impression. If you haven't seen anything here, it's because I don't post here often, which is something I have stated in the past.
Tenryo Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 If you're looking for "international support" from FKD, truthfully I'm probably the only thing you're going to get. I have some plans in the future for tournaments and other events, but nothing too large on a grand scale.
jinxhand Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Mad props for the TFC uploads on youtube. I forget the yt channel name though :-(

susano Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Looking to get Chaos Code and I want to use the ninja girl (Kagiri?). Is she hard to use? She's the only character I'm interested in aside from Bravo.
Star-Demon Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Let me know when this game gets netplay. Hermes suddenly got fun to play...wtf...
redsilversnake Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Looking to get Chaos Code and I want to use the ninja girl (Kagiri?). Is she hard to use? She's the only character I'm interested in aside from Bravo. Kagari's pretty easy to pick up. Her gameplay is straightforward and most of her combos aren't that hard.
Akiro Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 The combo system is soooo fun, I can literally spend hours in practice mode. Anyway for the nonexistent Cait and Sith players out there, I've been messing around with this combo path a bit. Its corner only and Cait has to be set before hand with 22B after a knockdown. You can open with 2A or 5A, its up to you. 5A >5B >5C > 5B > 214D > 22B > j.5A > j.5B > j.5C > j.5D >double jump > j.5B > j.5C > j.5D > j.214D> land> 236236C > j.5A > j.5B > j.5C > j.5D> double jump> j.5B > j.5C > j.5D > j.214D Not sure if its optimal, but outside of knockdown/oki setups its a pretty damaging combo.

Tenryo Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 then learn her infinite If you're reffering to the izuna drop > shuriken infinite, that's NSC only. That's being patched out shortly. We won't be getting that anyway, as console owners we will probably get whatever the last NSC arcade patch is. Also, her other corner infinite isn't easy to pull off.

Lol i was talking about the izuna drop one. I have no idea what version of the game the console one is. I still don't have it, and can't until it's free or someone gets it for me.
iw2ma Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 lol let me clarify, i have no idea what version is both japan or console or what they changed through each. Does the console version have Rui's 2nd fighting stance and not the original?
littlefang17 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Hey If anyone needs help with Hermes or with the game in general join one of my two groups I made.

Does the console version have Rui's 2nd fighting stance and not the original? The console versions (for JP/HK/NA) all are at v.1.02. The lastest version is New Sign of Catastrophe, which is currently in the arcade on NESiCAxLIVE. No, Rui still has her original fighting stance sprite in the console versions.
TSHKN Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 (edited) Yo Tenryo how do you do that Ex 236K,6C,214C loop with Cerberus? Edited September 22, 2013 by TSHKN
wenzel Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Tenryo. Chaos Code English Community Manager https://twitter.com/TenryoTheLight " To anyone that's experiencing any sort of glitches with the EN version of Chaos Code, it's most likely due to having a corrupted copy. Things like unlimited health, unlocking the full gallery instantly and getting it's trophy, etc. are all bugs caused by lack of data. Sony's servers during the first week of Chaos Code's release were unstable, and caused things like slow DLs despite it being only 1.5GB If you are experiencing any problems, please delete your copy and re-download Chaos Code from the PSN store. If these problems persist, please report it to me and I'll do everything I can to get it under control. Thank you for playing Chaos Code. To those that have their Chaos Code gallery/trophy already unlocked, all I can say is....enjoy your free stuff haha."
